Can I add nutes to organic soil?

Yeah, potting mixes are weird, everything from tree branches with a bit of nitrogen added to something a little better...but I haven't found anything organic that was great. So - and YMMV - but I've landed the following mix(s) for soil. Works across a wide variety of vegetables - weed is less...

Can I add nutes to organic soil?

Most likely. What is your soil made from (or what did you buy?)

Can I add nutes to organic soil?

Is there a reason you don't want to use organic nutrients? It might help people to know what you are trying to do.

Fungus gnats (and some other fly) killing my buzz....

Gah. Hate the bugs.. but like other people say, water less often and more heavily if you need to. My grows have been clean, fortunately, but I learned something from growing vegetables. You can spray a Neem oil based spray (way cheaper than Azmax) after the watered soil has dried and it...

Dark Purple leaves late in flower

Had a problem with purple leaves that became obvious the last week of flower. As you can see the canopy facing the light darkened to purple, and the tips of a few leaves in one spot burnt a bit. The last picture shows that this was light triggered, the growth in slight shadow was still nicely...

Jack Herer. First time grow. Small Tent SCROG. [Take 2]

So, I was thinking maybe for people thinking of growing the first time out I'd offer some observations: Search this site for answers. The knowledge and experience is astounding. Except politics..stay away from those threads. Prepared for the grow to take a while. You expect things...

1 month cure to 62%rh Fully trimmed out and cured yield was 100gr (3.5oz) Lost a ton of weight during dry and cure- but not a bad yield for what I was expecting first time out. I figure it's about 1/2 gr per watt. I care about the quality waymore than yield. I'm familiar with Herer...

Ok nothing massive like I see here but pretty good looking I think.. Pics are before the trimming was done. But I did get a bit lazy at the end. Save time time since I'm not entering a beauty contest and I didn't want to hack off all the sugar leaves which were pretty covered.

Week 10-11 Harvest! Trichs Here are two microscope captures from the same bud/location w/ different depth (focus) Note the big difference between cloudy:amber heads on the same bud. Found similar ranges between colas, but on a single bud just a fraction of an inch away was a...

WEEK 9. A couple tips of purple leaves look burnt.. (Reading online maybe nitrogen burn, leading to lock out of Phosphorous??) Trichomes are getting cloudy, a couple ambers but just on some buds. Getting close. Amount of the colas which are under the screen is about 1/2 to 1/3rd.. which is...

WEEK 9 A little more purple coloration concentrated on the leaves exposed by light. Expected this might be nutrient lock related..so I flushed a good amount and then stopped watering this week.

WEEK 8 OOOPS Weird weather - mid-90s... then cool (50s) STRANGE PURPLE LEAVES... wtf... Second pic down shows this is triggered by light.. The part of the leaf in shadow is green (as is undergrowth). #dontpanic (yet). I have a theory, but anyone know what this is?
