So I got a question and I’ve read that fresh seeds don’t germinate very well. Is this true? If so anyone have any techniques to help with better germination of fresh seeds. Only asking because I’m wanting to experiment with some homemade seeds this spring outside.

I’m not talking about sand I more meaning use of something like botanicare silica blast or something like that.

So question has anyone ever used a silica supplement in soil grows? I know growers use it in hydro.but was curious if anyone has used it for a soil( aka potting mix) grow? Does it improve plant health? Or is it more marketing wank-ateering.

I hope so I put a lot of time and care into these girls I’d be heartbroken if they die. Especially because they were my first attempt to generate feminized seed.

Now that I’m doing the math it’s almost 22 hours and yeah I just caught it. was fine yesterday lights went out as normal but I leave for work before they come on and got home about an hour ago and it was dark... I immediately turned it to manual and the light came on.

So guys need your thoughts and any experience.. I had a timer malfunction and my ladies have been in darkness for over 18 hours I’m I screwed? They look ok but they are in flower..... I’m worried sick that I’m going to have dead plants in a few days
