Hi all, I've had to flush out built up salts from my media and got to wondering when I should feed the girls again. Should I wait a normal feeding cycle and le the plants absorb the Water until the media is dry again, or should I feed the next day so the plants have immediate access to nutes...

Lady Ash, I know it's not recommended by most, but I have been using my T5HO system for veg and flowering for several grows...it can be done. I have 2 4x4ft T5 HO units, a total of 432Watts, and ~38,000 lumens. I blend 3k and 65k bulbs equally to maintain higher lumens, and it seems to work...

Here's bloom week 10 in my most recent use of LST. 4 plants, each was topped in veg and now has 2-4 main colas. I started the training ~2 weeks into flowering, after the big stretch. A bit late I know, but it's worked out great. I could "flatten" them further, but they get so wide they bust...

Thanks all, that's good info. Heartening to hear that some strains keep white pistils until the very end. I think I will harvest the ripe buds as I go instead of waiting for the whole plant to be done...I might have some overripe small colas from the middle if I wait. I also have one plant...

I'm not sure what strain, that's part of the problem. I think the back two are Northern Lights, but can't be sure. The front two I have no idea. I realize that different strains mature differently...ok, I'll give em 2-3 more weeks. And here I was thinking that I'd already seen the fattening up...

Here are some pics of the whole grow. The two front plants have ~50%+ cloudy trichs at the moment. The back two are 10-30% cloudy. I'm not sure how much extra ooomph I'll get from the 3-4 days of total darkness, I've heard it can boost final THC output quite a bit...I don't want to start that...
