Leaf tips dying...pics

I did a heavy topping yesterday. The plants had 5 node and I cut down to the 2nd. I noticed this once I topped.

All apparent sign before topping the plant was healthy, growing just as quickly as my other plants.

FFOF soil, with 1/2 strength nutes. 1000w MH.

This is a different plant, Yesterday the spots were lighter.

since you topped your plants they dont need so much nutes use just water for a while see how that does

I actually fed the day before I topped.

at that stage of growth in FFOF they don't need to be fed any nutes like said before just water em, I would flush and wait, watch the new growth for improvement, don't remove the damaged leaves let the plant decide

I actually waited 2 weeks for the initial 1/4 strength feeding, by then they were starting to develop deficiencies. They were about 6-8 inches when I topped them with 5-6 nodes.

So its just nute burn? Thats what I was thinking, but since it got worse since yesterday, I thought I would ask for help.
