Ok turned on my cfl's for the day and the tar looking spots got easier to get off.... It must have been some sort of bug that had gotten on her over night. But i have poked a whole threw one of my tops leafs now. Not to big but i was very dissapointed. Will this hurt/kill it any?

I think i've seen these before, some kind of 'scale like' bug. I think I saw them in some garden plants, and they did cause some damage.

No maple trees near it.... I have removed the spots from the leafs and when i was removeing it was almost like resin out of a bong..... it was not a bug but very strange... I poked a small hole in the top leaf when i was removeing it. Will that be a Huge problem and will my baby have any sideaffects???

Thanks for all the reply's

Check them out through a micro they may be the dreaded spider mites if they are shit you got problems.

It's possible that it's a fungus growing on some honeydew from an insect. Aphids, scales, and other insects excrete a sticky substance called "honeydew", on which a black fungus can grow.

No sign of spider mites. I did find a big ass fly in my grow room (may he Rest In Peace). It really looked like the scale bug but i do not know. After i scraped the black tar like resin off my baby no more have returned. As i said i poked a hole in one of my top leafs tho :( not very big but Will this be a huge problem?

Again Thank You all for your help and posts!!!

Okay I think mine is different. It's definitely mold because when I bombed the bugs it got worse from the moisture. I came close to totally killing them I think, but most stuff I didn't trim is still doin the 45 degree happy dance.
