Hey guys this is my first lowrider grow! It's pretty frosty but why are the leaves purpling? Thanks for any advice.

I like it, just wondering if it was harmful to the plant. I tried a little and it is a strong head buzz at this point.

No it looks fine. I do see a lot of Lowryder's with purple in them. What is the temp during the day and night?

Purple leaves/stems are a sign of potassium deficient plants, often caused by Ph or over ferting causing lockout. :peace:

Thanks for the info ! I gave them a good flush last night to be safe. How can I stop the lockout while ensuring that they are getting the maximum feeding capacity?

Check the Ph of you water first if that is fine look at your feeding schedule. Lowryder is a nutrient sensitive plant and does not require much to get burned. At this point the damage is done, resume feeding at a reduced concentration and see how they respond. No need to add micro-nutrients like Mg to your soil either, doing so might be causing your lockout, micro nutrients are usually at sufficient levels in the soil and 98% of micro-nutrient problems are cause by adding too much or improper Ph.

I was going to say temp but I'm in the process with lowryder as well and the stems are burgundy colored. From what I can tell thats just what lowryders do because your plant looks healthy. But if you feel that you should take precautions then flush your plant once every 2 weeks.
