That's a respectable root ball. More air stones would take it to a 'higher' level- more fuzzy hairs, less spaghetti strings

But before I comment any further, I have to tell you that I'm not able to see your pictures. I get a message saying "invalid attachment specified". I can see your wheelchair graphic at the end, though.
Dave - don't want to clog up everything unnecessarily. I am attaching a photo of the oldest and just my tent, so you can see my LITTLE plants. I am going to do a journal more than likely of the main lining of my Strawberry Cough and Blue Thai (or White Lemon - I haven 't decided) - you guys can help me refine my details then :blsmoke:

Those trichomes look nice and plump. I hope my plant gets like that pretty soon. So what is mainlining?

I'd have to get a new air pump for that, because the 2nd outlet broke off during early veg of this plant. Anyway, you're forgetting the Hempy Bucket above the res. The main root ball is in there. And it gets lots of aeration in between pumps of water up to it. When the water drains out, air comes into the bucket of Perlite, sort of like ebb and flow. One thing I can try is stepping back the watering schedule from once every 90 minutes to every 2 hours. Then more air can get in.

Thanks for pointing out the problem.

The tds was about 1115 ppm tonight, 1 day after the last water change. I feel pretty comfortable with that. The buds seem to be bulking up more. They're partially hidden under the leaves, so not too easy to see them, but they're looking good. They just need to grow more and fatter trichomes! Now that I'm getting the tds dialed in better, I'm hoping that will happen soon.

Where are you in flowering time, D? I am looking forward to you getting some dank shots on here. That plant is so healthy, you are not going to be able to do anything but giggle like a child when those buds start putting on weight. I just keep stashing money away for the new A-51. Got probably the best photos I've taken in a long time today. Busted out the tripod finally...lol. Does your camera shoot in RAW mode?

We're mid week 7.

Lookin good, brother! Very healthy. Those buds are filling up the stems real nice. Great trichs. Glad to see it!

I'm at exactly day 39 into flower, so you're a week ahead of me. I'll probably harvest at around day 60 or so. When I look very closely at my plant's leaves I can see that they aren't perfectly healthy. It'll take some time to recover, but the buds are growing.

I don't think that my camera takes RAW photos unfortunately. My older camera does, though. I might take a few shots with it sometime to see if I can get better closeup shots using RAW mode.

Just easier to correct the color and exposure in Raw format. The LEDs (and HPS on my side - yellow) make everything overexposed and on the red/magenta side. I correct on the PC rather than turning the lights off. I can take shots without a lot of hassle that way. My photos have really improved since I have such willing models! I do it to look at the trichs too, though I have been eyeing one of those microscopes.

She is looking good, Dave! It gets so hard to keep hands off, huh? bongsmilie

The tiny dot like specs on the leaves look real suspicious, have you ever looked for bugs, like spider mites?

I noticed those light spots today for the first time myself. They're really visible when you look up at the leaves from below. Haven't thought of spider mites. Never had em in my house before. I hope not. I'll take a look later tonight. Thanks for the idea.

Yeah, I stick my nose in the closet all the time to smell the bush and look it over.

I understand what you mean about overexposed pictures. I've been trying to correct it on my MacBook, but I only have the basic image editing software that comes with MacOS. I'll take a closeup of a bud with my old camera and blow it up. Even though the new camera has more megapixels, I'm pretty sure the detail is finer in the older camera. Because when I blow up one of its pictures, it's almost like it was taken from a microscope.

Took some bud shots with my old camera, just to show how much more detail it captures when I blow them up.

First, here's a closeup:

Now here's a small section of it cropped out so that it looks enlarged here:

Here's another piece, also seen full size:

See? I don't need a microscope to see the trichs. You can clearly see them in the previous 2 photos. I think it's because the CMOS chip in this old camera was a special one that was custom-made for Panasonic. It has fewer megapixels, but the quality of each pixel is better, so the detail turns out better.

---
The other nice feature is that its aperture can open all the way up to f2.0. The previous pics were taken at f8.0 in order to get the greatest depth of field. This one was taken at f2.0:

You can see the shallow depth of field in comparison. The good thing about f2.0 is that the camera can take low light pics without using a flash.

Dave, I am using 2 gifted prototypes from A51, that are not going into production. They have no lenses, which EH suggested I add, but I haven't

I have a more advanced leaf issue that only appeared recently. It only developed ~ 4-5 days after I decreased the distance between canopy and lights by a measly 6"

I have a revegging mother in the same tent, but she is off to the side (farther away from the lights) no leaf issues. Also using the same nutes in my hot5 tent- no issues. Apparently distance is critical
