cooling question

Keeping the fan on 24/7 is probably best as long as it doesn't get too cold out, and God only knows that you know whatyour doing.

My room is on a controller, so my fan kicks on when it hits 75 or so, but if your friend wants to keep his cooled air in his room, then his fan should be off. imho

Amount of humidity removed depends on the BTU rating but all A/C units removed some amount of humidity.

Ok, whats the btu stand for, also what btu would be good in a room of 2by2by2?

we only realy get shity products here in nz if ya want good stuff it cost a shit load.

A 5,000 btu unit should work just fine for a space that size i'm assuming you measurements are in meters:peace:

i forget what Btu he said he had. i wll talk with him this afternoon. thank you all for the replies. i have several ideas to shoot by him. the first being a controller. :)

my friend has a room. 5000 watts. he is pulling in new air from outside and exhausting outside in a different location. the temps outside have been in the upper 90's. he runs his lights at night. his daytime temp (lights off) is in the 80's. he bought a HUGE A/C unit. the problem is, the exhaust is venting the room to fast to allow the A/C to cool it. what should he do? thanks. :blsmoke:

Seal the room and run CO2. I stopped running CO2, I mean, my friend stopped running CO2 altogether. Hardly even notice a difference with the AC running 24/7.

For 3000 watts my friend runs a 10,000 BTU window mount AC. Would've gone higher, BTU's, so it did not cycle on and off as often, but would have required going 220.
