Hello again my green fingered friends.

This time i thought i would treat you all to a showing of 'JAMAICAN DREAM' from Eva seeds.

I had good results with 'MISSING' from Eva seeds and that promted me to further grow thier other strains, you can see the documentation of my 'MISSING' grow if you click the link on my Signature.

As you can see she done nicely in Veg and had long lateral branches which almost were as tall as the main Stem/Cola..

Then i put her onto 12/12 Lighting to Flower under 400w HPS:

Nice job! You'll have a lot of amber trichs at 8 weeks. Have you looked under microscope? Mine were nearly overdone in the garden by the end of September.

Ohh the Jamaican Dream really is quite nice. I got a free seed from Herbies and still have some of the finished product left. The aroma is very pleasant and unique. She also flowers fast, 7-8 weeks truly done.

Hello people and thank you all for the kind words.

One thing i am confused about is that mine seems to be taking longer than the reports of 7-8 weeks and finished since mine is now in week 9 and she is still throwing out new pistils on her top buds.
Seems to me that she is still Bulking up her Flowers lol.
I will have another look at her Trichomes when the light comes on later and then we will see.

What makes it weirder still is i also have a Caramelo in that tent and she is not supposed to finish until 9-10 weeks but she looks like she has finished a week or two ago, all but amber trichomes which are cloudy at this point! LOL :weed:

Some strains never stop throwing new pistils in flower. I had Acapulco Gold that was one of those.

Well i just had another look under the microscope and it appears that i now have approx 3-5% Amber 75% Cloudy and 20% Clear Trichomes showing on the J.D. so i suspect the harvest will be in the not too distant future ;)

I will add more pictures and info at Harvest time :weed:

Ok Folks here's the final pictures of the Jamaican Dream just before Harvest.

I let this one go for 10weeks of Flowering since she seemed to be bulking up in the last 3-4 weeks.

Here she is..

She was fed Gout Nutes and Stimulants and was grown in BioBizz Light Mix.

Turned out pretty Hefty she definately impressed me, now she is hanging in the drying Box awaiting cure, i will let you all know the final weight and Smoke report soon :weed:

10 weeks? So you went a full month more than they advertise it as. 42-45 days. Man , I can see it added extra weight but imo breeder descriptions should be followed. They have nothing to gain by misleading you on peak harvest time

Damn i thought i finished this thread off with a yield and smoke report! lol

Oh well better late than never haha.. she yielded approx 2 Ounces and after curing for a few weeks she smoked really smooth with fruity and earthy tones also has great bud appeal.

Defenitaley recommend the Jamaican Dream to anyone :weed:

I grew her from eva seeds feminized. Found 2 phenos. Jamaican #1 finished in 45 days with 5%. However it has a genetic hermie as it throws nanners 10 at each bud site. I am running this last harvest with heavy hermie reverse by dutch master then culling the strain. It smells great and smokes good except for all the seeds and hermies. It tested at 13.27% thc and .44% cbd which is drastically lower than the 17-19% I was expecting. still, I would keep her if it weren't for all those hermies.

Jamaican dream pheno #2 finished longer than 45 days and was more airy and less smell/taste. But the buds are bigger and no hermie at all! I ran her next to her hermie sis several grows and not one single hermie. HOWEVER, she was only 10% thc which just isnt worth the effort I have all my meds tested by a professional lab.

Lesson i learned after a few harvests: I CANNOT ccontrol genetic hermies and my best advice is to cull it asap.

Howdy I am currently growing this strain and am impressed with her. I did try her at the stat of the year and got a massive yield, 12 ounces. She is a fast finisher and the nugs were hard and compact and the smoke was good. What gets me is this is suppose to be 90% sativa? She grows like an indica and at 45 days flowering is hardly a sativa.

Here is my current JD grow! :D
