Here my first grow room. I did a little research and decided that LEDs with aeroponics is the best way to grow. The closet is 24"x36"x84". I got these clones from a reliable source. Sweet and Up. I use GH nutrients along with some other stuff. :hump: Please tell me what you think.

no for real....all jokes aside. ditch the foil. foil is for baking man....

get you some quality reflective material....especially since you spent all that money on LED.

Also, i would lower them LEDs down some, as they dont produce any heat. The closer the light, i would think, the better!!!!

Thanks. I'll get some Mylar. I think the LEDs are intense enough right now at the current distance. I have 46w of LEDs which is suppose to be enough for a room larger but just in case......the flood lights are hanging from jack chain that can be adjusted up and down. I also have extra sockets hanging just in case "we need more warp speed." I'm growing at an aggressive rate already they are producing a new chute every 3 days. I love them and check them frequently. I've never seen anything grow this fast. Right in front of your eyes. 5 day cutting with 2 new chutes.

I was baby sitting to day and noticed that my biggest girl was yellowing. WTF? NO Way is this happening to me. After some prodding around, I discovered the pump was falling apart inside the tank. So early this morning, I was up disassembling and cleaning the pump. Whew too close. Lowered the PH 6.3 to 5.7. Will post pics later after recovery. The good thing is, only after 5 days my clones have roots and will ready for the next feeding schedule.

After some considerable advice, I decided to ignore the manufacturer and follow you guys. I am very concerned though. I sure hope you guys have experience with LED's. If I get the lights too close, the girls will do things like hang upside down. I've lower 1/2 the lights to 24" away from the canopies. The other half is mounted stationary for now at 48" above. The lights seem to be a bit more Raspberry color. I would have lowered another 6" but the blue light is in the center and I was worried about the coverage that the girls would receive. PH is still 5.7. I'll post pics later. I am due for a water change today. It is the 7th day of a-sexual propagation. Using GH nutrient cycle. If there are anymore helpful hints, I am open to suggestion.

Today is day 7. Changed nutrients according to the grow bible schedule. I also add 2 23W 5000k CFLs for full spectrum of color to supplement where the LEDs may be week at. The girls responded instantly to the new solution of light and "nutes." They started shaking, vibrating and changing colors right in front of me. The leave stems turned a reddish color and perked up. They are starting to get robust twig like stalks. Wow. I am determined to get a good yield. All feedback is good. Please tell me more on how this room is hated or not good. I'll continue to post pics. Temp went up 5 deg. F after adding CFLs. Lights were 24/7 but I am going to change to 18/6 to try to cool off room at night. I need to alter exhaust also. I have an air cleaner exhausting toward the attic. I am also getting some reflective mylar this weekend to re-line the walls. I hope investments get great results.

Air Temp 85F during
Tank Temp 81F
PH 6.3 adjusting to 5.5 to 6.0
PPM 780
GH Nutes, Superthrive, Hygrozyme

Hey man, real cool set up. I would consider getting some side panels. Its not critical now, but it will be later on during flowering. Goodluck!

Duece.

I've added more CFLs Yesterday. 4-5000k 43w bulbs plus 1 65W 6500K. Girls started bolting so I removed the RED LEDs and put 2 blue 5.5W 120LED bulbs over the plants. In just a matter of hours, they have changed the density of the veins in the leaves and color. The nodes are real closed together now. When I receive these clones, I knew I had my work cut out (wasn't cheap). I'm doing everything I can to make them grow but use HIDs. I dont have the space and I rent so I have to do this wisely. I still need maximum yield. The temp had gone up but I made a bigger hole in the closet facing the attic for cool air and put in a bigger fan. Its still chilly here so it was a perfect solution. Temp dropped 8 degs to 75.:hump: I will be lining walls with mylar tonight. I got it. Over night the PH rose to 6.65. Readjusted.
TEMP 75
PH 5.8
PPM 900
