i have just been given a co.2 generator ,gas one and it is for a large greenhouse set up,so it will emit to much if i use it as it is capable of pumping out a fair bit by the look of the thing,i have no way of measuring it at present,so i was going to give it a go with basically the pilot light on ,and maybe give it a boost prior to leaving my room, then leave it on the pilot light,i dont know a great deal about them other than what i have read on this and other sites, but as to much can kill them???,do you think this will be a good idea.
the room is fairly large with aircon, and heaps of inside circulation, but i would like to give it a go after reading what some of you have posted in regards to upping the co.2,at present i have only seven fairly mature ladies in there, and i do not want to fuck them up,and lots of you are full of info ,any ideas?

(a) total volume lenghtxwidthxheight=total cubic feet

total cubic feet x 1500ppm =cubic feet co2 needed to bring level to 1500 ppm

a x 0.0015 = y cubic feet

y devided into 8.7 =

(x0.33) = pounds of fuel needed

pounds x 16 = how many ounces you will need

i live in the uk
one of skunks fellow u.k dwellers, good on you for the info, you are lucky over there ,as you can buy seeds easier,i wish it was the case in oz,i do have a sister over there but she is disgusted by my fithy habit so it is pointless asking her to smuggle me a ton of seeds and charlie back for me:peace:

i put it in ,and tried its different settings, and it puts out too much heat,on the mid to upper settings, but is o.k as i only intend to use it on very low as it is for a much bigger area.
i have been reading up,some say dont use it in flowering, and others say go for it???.
the room is airconditioned so i can keep the aussie heat down, but i may take your advice and leave it until i put my next batch in as these are not far from finish,i will look up some more info,as some say to use in veg only ,other sites say all the time,so the best i can do is read up ,and see what happens, but it was free so i am not complaining as i think they cost a fair bit,and my mate always seemed to do very well with it,but he was not sure about the flowering cycle either, but i do like free things to play with.
