Okay fellow growers...was doing a bit of research here on RUI and came across a thread for growing "hempy style" with time released fertilizer. Well I had no clue what that was but after reading, it seemed pretty idiot proof so I said WTF... I am using a 1 gallon bucket filled with straight perlite and a tablespoon of Osmocote time released fertilizer with a hole drilled 2 inches from the bottom. She will only be getting ph'd water from start to finish.

Queenie was germed on 11/20 in a 1.5 inch rockwool cube and moved to a 3" net pot filled with hail...IMG_0014.JPGIMG_0013.JPG

She was moved to a dwc bucket until she had some roots poking out the bottom. She is about 5 days old here...IMG_0021.jpgIMG_0023.jpg

Queenie will be topped above the second node after she has grown her 5th node...shooting for 4 main colas, and then I will be doing some LST.

Bubbles will not be topped as she is an auto but will also be having some LST.

I am totally hooked on this whole growing thing....wish someone would have warned me!!!! lol
 
i cant find much info on the hempy bucket method but i hear a lot of people using it with good results. good luck, ill drop by later
 
Well just a quick update: Queenie is growing really well...another set of leaves. Couple more sets and she will be topped just above her second node.

Bubbles has been upgraded to a 3" net pot and placed in a small dwc with ph'd water and an airstone. Pot is just above the water line so she can be showered with bubbles!!

ill subscribe 2 this one. curious to see the auto bubble. is it from Nirvana?? good luck. so far it looks good man. keep it up

thats watsup. Nirvana is awesome.. ive grow a few seeds from other company's like G-13 labs.. and greenhouse.. and none have compared to Nirvana's qualtity AND yield.. adn ive heard GREAT thing about the reg Bubbleicious plant.. not sure boput the auto.. just keep a close eye on it.. cuz i've heard from a few ppl that sumtimes their autos dont auto-flower.. soo u can justswitch to 12-12. you should b happy with it tho man. =)

Thanks for the heads up!! I have been seeing others grow this and say how great the finished product is and just had to try it for myself. Unfortunately for myself I am in the midst of a bad experience from a diff company with an auto that didn't do what it was supposed to....I am now fighting to keep her alive, and we will definitely fight till the end!!!!
 
Looks like I can jump on this one early. Never heard of the hempy method but I guess you can show me the way. Subed if for no other reason than I like the way you think.
 
78 degrees and 45% humidity....is that to hot? They have been on 24/0....giving them both another week or so then going on 18/6.
