Hey what's up y'all here are some pics from my latest endeavour. (4th grow) 8 plants made from some of the best genetics out there. Mango Haze (Mr Nice Seeds) x Mother's Finest (SensiSeeds)

Growing with two hyper efficient 45w LED panels. I love my lights and I don't care what anybody says about LED. They do a great job. NO stretching.

These pictures have been taken at various times. Currently, they have been going for about 30 days 24/0 and went into flowering yesterday. After sexing they will be put back into vegging for some more LSTing in 12 inch pots. I have all the time in the world.

Got questions? Ask away.

@carokann: My plants are quite green. An emerald sativa green. ^_^ The light spectrum of the LED Panels I have are blue 460nm / red 660 nm which are perfect spectrums for plant growth and flowering. Plants don't use green light hence in avoiding unnecessary spectrums the light is purple. The light actually appears more like a cool purple-ish white in person. No stress has come from the lights. Growth is tight and compact. My biggest problem up till now has been air circulation.

I am actually keeping a consistent diary of this grow which I will publish when finished.

Okay Day 32! w00t! more pics...

Here are my tips for LSTing.

Start early (as soon you notice internode growth)
Lose the strings. Get hooks.
If a leaf is in the way, get it out of the way!

A good method to get leaves out of the way is what I call Staircase Leaf Training. You basically take your top leaf and tuck it behind the lower one and then take that one and tuck it behind the next and so on. It opens up the plant and tricks it into thinking the lower leaves are getting more light than the top of the plant which is the whole point of LST. So do it!

Day 36

No preflowers yet should be soon though. *crosses fingers*

I took some clones, they will take about 2 weeks to root properly. Just peat pellets and dome lid misting. The CFL bulb will be moved closer in 48 hours.

The plant pictures are from today. You can see differences in between phenos now. It would be nice to have a really hazey female. *yummm*

BTW: These pics are taken after cutting clones.

Hey all! My clones are rooted. 100% survival rate :)

Once all the plants are sexed, female clones will replace the male plants and be grown to maturity.

I will also pick my best 2 female clones and make them mothers for further cloning.

Hey all! I'm still going strong. The LEDs are working out great, budsites are blooming everywhere. I can't wait till they fill out through September.

The fan leaf stems now have a dark red tint to them and the branches are filling out nicely. The colas are so numerous that it's hard to count them. I would say LST was a complete success, but I want to see how tall my plants get. They are between 1' 5" and 2 feet right now and I know they will get bigger.

5 Mango Haze x Mother's Finest females. 45 days left.

Cut down to 4 plants. One of them was being very unproductive compared to the others so I scrapped it in order to make the grow space more efficient. (Don't worry, I salvaged the leaves and premature buds for cooking.) The extra space is helping tremendously. Will have more pics soon.... the buds are starting to look really nice now. 33 days left.
