hey guys thought it was time for an update, if you ever wondered what topping to get 8 colas and then severe LST'ing looked like? Now you do!!! check out the big bang it has gone wild, i think i may have to build a bigger box as im running out of room width ways!!! train wreck is also looking very sexy and cannot wait til these start budding . thought i would take some shots of them with only the 6400k cfl's and my god has that shown how healthy these ladys are, lets hope these bud as well as they veg, very happy with these so far.

also the reveg is doing great and has had a bit more lst'ing to open her up, just waiting on the little ones to finish now because i am seriously running out of space, may have to get the pencil and paper out soon.

I love the Snow White reveg, don't it feel so good when you see them come back to life like that mate? If every grower took their harvested plants out and planted them somewhere rather than ditching them there would be bushes everywhere come late September!! She's going to give you a great harvest to say 'thanks for giving me a second chance', trust my word on that.

hi MS, good to see you, they do look very green and im pretty chuffed with them so far, the snowwhite re-veg is doing wonderful aswell im sure she will give me an ounce again maybe more?and i trust you on that one .

i have ditched the box and made a neat little corner for them which seems to be ok. but they are seriously growing out of control!!! the big bang is massive now afterall they were vegd for nearly 6 weeks lol, im thinking i may struggle a little with that 250watter to cover them though so im gonna purchase some bigger 2700k cfl's to help out.

will update with some pics when the lights turn on, you will be amazed at the size of them now. if i haddent trained them i reckon they would be at 5ft tall now!!! they are now at day 13 of 12/12

oh and just to let you all know my loft has been hitting over 95 all week and i havnt seen any slowing down in growth, they are loving it

With Tamjams permission I wanted to post some pics of my Big Bang. I have 5 going, 4 that I started lst'ing and moved them and let them loose and 1 one grown conventionally. Great strain!!!

hi bigv1976, thanks for posting them they look great, what lighting are you using? i can see its HPS but what wattage? i have read that the potency isnt all that great but the yields are pretty impressive.

have you smoked bigbang before?

It's a 400 and yes I have smoked and it is not gonna win a cup but it has a pretty heavy stone.

i think it won the cannabis cup in 2002, pretty sure of it, if it turns out really heavy i will save it for an evening smoke

Thanks Tam, things are looking good for you to. That tree gets full of starlings and squirrels. they can't stand them so they figured out how to climb the tree to get rid of em. They are safe in the tree but heaven help em on the ground. just threw away another starling and I thing around 3 squirrel carcasses this spring. The young ones ain't to smart. lol

i like to think so bigman, i got a few grows under my sleeve now and everything does get simpler as time go's on, im hoping for 1.5-2 oz's per plant, the bigbang is looking very promicing, looks like i better get some more nutrients on thursday as im getting low on the bloom nutes

Yup I'll be chopping over the next 1-3 weeks (different strains) it's the link in my sig that starts out with "Super Lemon Haze."

I've been really interested in following your revegged plant as I have a couple plants that when I harvest I want to do the same so I can take clones and keep the genetics around.

re-vegging is deffo the way to go if you have that special pheno you want to save, im gonna be re-vegging a snowwhite cutting from a special pheno ( you know the one MS !! ) to keep that line going. its some well potent smoke and i enjoyed it but i have ran out now but only another week until i got some more

cheers mate, ive emptied my inbox now.

the trainwreck has gone out of control, i now know what streching is, some nodes have like 6-7 inch between them, im just gonna let it go as when i tied it down a bit it went all gangly if you know what i mean, on the other hand the bigbang is perfect. maybe this is just what sativas are like? thinking of upgrading to a 400watter!!! but i cant see the missus approving of it lol or im gonna add a load of cfl's dunno yet but im definatley trying to cover more than a 2' x 2' area and thats all the 250watter is good for. but i expect i will just stick with the 250 and work round it.

i have decided to swap their lights on to the daytime as im paranoid that there might be light leaking from around the roof being visible from outside, just being safe lol.

even at 5pm when the lights have been coming on its roasting up there still so shouldnt be a problem
