First grow - DP Blueberry, Orange Bud, Mazar, and Greenhouse Church

Ok so this is my first post and I need some advice about my first grow! I've read a LOT of posts on this site and others and have gotten tons of good information. I'm sure I'll be back on with many more questions as the grow progresses but for now I'm looking for any general tips as well as advice on nutes.

I'm growing some Dutch Passion Blueberry, Orange Bud, Mazar, and Green House's The Church! I have a 400w MH for veg. For flowering I have a 400w HPS and a 250w MH which I will use side by side (or at 45 deg angles, have yet to decide).

I've purchased some BioBizz BioGrow and BioBloom and will also add in some unsulphured blackstrap molasses. I've read alot of conflicting information on what type of feeding schedule to use. Some people say not to use any nutes till bloom. Some people say use BioGrow throughout the whole cycle. Some people say to flush before harvest while others say not to, since it's organic.

Right now my seedlings are in 3rd day of germination and all are starting to show small roots. I'll be moving them into soil tomorrow night and keeping them under fluorescent bulbs until they've reached a few inches.

Any advice on what type of feeding schedule to use with these nutes will absolutely help! I'll be updating with pics and info as soon as I get to that stage. thanks in advance to everyone :)

i will update you if curious, probably 1 zip, maybe a bit more, the PPP is supposed to have quite a surge in bulk at the end

well so i originally didn't mention that all three DP strains I germinated in rockwool (newb mistake) and the church i germed in some coco square. all of them were placed in plastic cups with plastic bags around them for humidity. well about a day after not seeing any progress in anything, i checked again only to find that the church had sprouted up to 2 inches overnight and was already yellowing and had a white stem. it only had two rounded leaves. i took all 4 plants and moved them under two 27w fluorescents (day and natural colors). i took the three DP strains and removed the seeds from the rockwool (all three had a tiny root showing, about 1cm long) and placed them in plastic cups with some standard soil from the local gardening store. i watered all 4 cups with ph treated water.

about 12 hours later i checked again - no progress yet on the DP strains but the church has already become bright green with a purplish stem. it even has 2 more leaves growing already! i assume the other three will begin flourishing as well (fingers crossed) and i will update everyone. i will have pics very soon but forgot my camera cable at my other place!

peace and love fellow stoners - send some positive vibes over to my babies please! ;)

well i think the 3 DP seeds are fucked or something....it's been a week and since moving them out of the rockwool and into soil nothing has happened. the church is actually looking great and in 1-1.5 week i will move it under the 400w MH. i got so frustrated that today i dug up the orange bud seed just to see what's going on and it still shows the same thing - slight crack in the shell with a tiny tap root sticking out. i think leaving it in the rockwool the way i did was hell on it as soon as the tap root was exposed. im keeping my fingers crossed that some miracle will happen and they will get over the stress and pop out anyways in another few days.

a friend of mine said same thing happened to him and he left the seeds in the soil because he thought they were done for and then two weeks later came back to find them all about 3 inches tall and dried out! so there's still hope! in any case, i started germinating Green House's Bubba Kush as well so in the best case scenario i'll have 5 plants and worst case 2 plants. I still have one seed left for each of the DP strains so if they dont pop up, next grow will be all DP.

not much to post in terms of pics since the church is only about 2 inches tall right now. but in any case i'll post something soon as i remember to bring my camera cable!

i have seen that with a popped seed, taproot that didn't progress, wasn't a happy ending
but definitely hold tough, not much to lose at this point
not sure if the rockwool was a problem, haven't used it, but it could have screwed up the fine root tips

well i'm getting paranoid as shit now....i've been able to get bud once in the past 2 months and it was premature shit! everyone is getting busted like crazy over here. last night my friend's guy got a knock at the door from UPS and he opened it only to find cops raiding his place. they snatched his two premature plants and the way it goes here is NUTS: they take the bucket with soil and plant and all and THAT is what they weigh!! they bust you on kilos with EASE this way and basically butt rape anyone growing.

so ya this country blows fat cock right now. but my church plant is looking strong and healthy. hope to have some better updates soon....still waiting on the bubba kush to break soil. i've all but given up on the three DP seeds.....we'll see if a miracle happens though. be safe everyone

that doesn't sound good, sounds like the midwest
if a friend's guy is under the gun, he may be under pressure to give up any other grows he knows about
you've already mentioned being paranoid, but real risks aren't paranoia

well i think i'm safe....nobody but my girlfriend and two cousins know about my grow. i keep it to myself....rule number 1 right?

btw great news...i took a peak at the orange bud seed today and it seems to have made alot of improvement! the root has actually tripled in size so i'm assuming the other ones are also doing ok. if they all pop out, ill have 5 different strains to report on. the church is doing great, im going to move it under the 400w MH tomorrow. will take pics of my setup tonight and i finally remembered to grab the cable so ill have them up asap.

I know I know this thread is getting boring w/o pics but I'll have some up tonight guaranteed - just been very busy with work and other bullshit that gets in the way of tending to my babies.

Good news! Blueberry and Orange Bud have broken ground!!! they both popped out over the weekend and are under the 400W MH right now alongside the Church! Unfortunately the Mazar did not make it. I dug up the seed and found the root turned brown and dried up, oh well. Still waiting on the Kush to break ground now and that'll put me back on track for the 4 plants I originally intended on growing.

All is well and I've started feeding 1-2ml of BioBizz BioGrow per liter of reverse-osmosis water treated to a PH of around 6-6.4. The Church is showing very wide indica leaves and while it's still small, I can already tell how bushy it will be and how close the internodes will be in relation to eachother. The Blueberry is short with a thick stem while the Orange Bud is stretching and leaning a bit more and needed to be propped up with some dirt around the stem.

Pics tonight, stay tuned!!

i've seen plenty of little seedlings, it's rare that they look any different, so pics at this point no big deal
but hooray for the BB! just what i was waiting for, let the BB grow begin!

i know but its just boring without them...plus it makes for better review materials. couple months and im gonna burn these suckers! :joint: anyways as promised....first pic is blueberry, 5th is orange bud, 7th is church.

i brought the temp down to stay around 77 F now and humidity stays around 40-45. you can see my 400w flood light there. i've fixed up the mylar since taking this pic so it reflects much more light towards the plant. that's the bitch about a flood light, it projects the light over too wide of an area. but they are hella cheap with ballast and all plus dont get too hot at all.

quick update - all three plants are looking good except for a little wilting on the Church and Orange Bud. i over watered them a bit and took it too far with the nutes. the wilting isn't so bad at all since i caught it very early on. im going to let the soil dry alot about 3 inches down and then ill water a bit without nutes. i'm pretty sure its just the nutes since i always underfed the Blueberry after hearing how sensitive it is and how easily it herms and by no coincidence, it's the only one that isn't wilting.

good news at least is the Blueberry is doing great! for the baby that it is, the stem has gotten thick and strong. oh and the Bubba is starting to sprout a tap root so hopefully it'll be taking off in the next few days. I found that germinating directly in soil has worked great!

here are a few pics of the wilting, any feedback is appreciated...

now we're talking, green time
feeding now is probably a mistake, or tiny amounts at most
that, and over watering, could explain the wilting
can't see anything too bad from the pics
and the blueberry has a finicky rep for sensitivity to nutes, doesn't like it heavy

looking pretty good, not sure if that 1st pic is an issue, but should keep a close watch
which is the BB?
