OK, So I've been seeing a lot of people freaking out and doing stuff to plants that doesn't need to be done. I'm gonna show you a good setup that's easy to follow and cheap. Pay attention and don't say this won't work because I've been doing it since the 80's.
Materials:
3 gallon pot per plant
Dirt from outside
Water
4 Ft fluorescent light fixture and bulb
2 cool white for veg*
2 warm white for flowering
Location: Closet of course.
That is all you need. The method begins now.
Get dirt from outside your house. Take grass out and airate it. Put in oven at 350 for about 45 mins. That just killed all the bad stuff.
Fill the pot with the dirt and airate as you fill.
Flood the dirt with WARM water and let it be EXTREMELY wet.
Get lights from anywhere. Walmart,Kmart,Sears etc... There 10-20 bucks depending on where you go.
Install with cool white bulbs 2 FT above pot. Keep them on a 18/6 cycle. Raise lights as needed.
After 2 months switch one bulb out with warm and the following week switch the other with warm.
Switch to 12/12 at this time.
Let flower for 2 1/2 months
Cut off leafes and leave just the bud 3 days before ending flowering
Cut stem but leave bud on the stem and hang upside down for 2 weeks to 1 month
* REMEMBER to water when dirt is dry on top and keep area clean.*
