So killed my bubbleicious seedling... Pretty bummed since it was looking so great before it died.

Went from this...photo.JPG'

In about 3-4 days.. :/ I'm not sure exactly what i did wrong, i had 3 26w 6000k cfl spirals i was using for veg, and was growing in MG moisture control :-|

I don't want to believe i fucked the baby up this bad so i'm choosing to blame that damn miracle gro! :p

Anyway, placed this plant outside, maybe she'll perk up one day, not sure i've kind of lost hope for her.

But i'm making this thread to announce i'm finally going hydroponic! :D Got a 250w mh/hps cooltube iPower in the mail, should be here soon, and on friday i'm going to pick up a waterfarm from my hydroponics store.
It comes with the 3 part GH floura bloom, micro,&gro 8oz bottles, and was wondering if anyone thought the GH floura nutes are better or if they prefer the foxfarm grow big, tiger bloom, and big bloom?

Here's the setup i'll have for veg. I'm still gonna veg under the CFLs, will put the hps in there once flowering starts.

photo (4).JPG Water farm will go on the wood, under 4 6000k cfls next to the osc fan.

photo (5).JPG Using the trashcan as a visual for the waterfarm.

photo (6).JPG Trying to get a good picture of how i made the lights, Just like half a shoe box with mylar on one side, 2 hand down reflectors, 2 y-splitters, 4 26w cfls under one "reflector"

Growing Nirvana's Auto/Fem Bubbleicious

Anyway, wish me luck.

I got mine for 60bucks with the GH nutes and do Lucas formula,Works great.

Hell yeah man, its like $55 at my hydro store, has the entire kit with the GH nutes, ph up&down, and a bag of hydroton. Also me and the owner have been really "buddy buddy" lately and told me if i decide to come in and get one he'll throw in a free ph meter/thermometer.

& i've heard alot about the Lucas formula, got a link where I can find it?

thanks!

Ive got several this last one is the GH Coco lid, trying it out now.
Just google Lucas f.

Thanks man i've been looking at the different kinds for hours, actually really interested in the floura nova formula, use nothing but nova the entire grow? Have you had any expeirence with it? I'd just like to know if that method is better than the lucas for the floura micro, bloom, gro as far as bud quality goes.

Hey Xtrangex, good to hear you're going Hydro, it really is the best way to grow, in my opinion. Hempy for life.

An idea about why your baby died: Soil and Miracle Grow.

Miracle grow is notorious for murdering young plants unexpected. Some people think it has to do with the uneven nutrient balances from the production process that salt up a plant really fast after a few watering sessions if you get a bag that has uneven ratios. My personal thoughts are that it's too barky and acidic. You would need to use water around a pH of 8 to balance it, but most people don't know that about the soil itself, so they add low pH water to an even lower pH soil and it just burns the plants down.

Good luck and keep us updated.

floranova is easy to use.

Don't blame miracle grow. It's not specifically miracle grow. What probably killed your seedling was the fact that you were fertilizing a seedling. They don't need nutrients for a while, especially if you're in "new" soil.
