U.K. Growers where can I purchase H2O2 from at 35% or 50%

Just the info I need thanks for that, at least the U.K. growers have something to read when it comes to H2O2
 
Still hoping for a UK grower to chime in with a source on 35% and/or 50% H2O2.

When in doubt, phone up a chemical supply house and ask for pricing. The problem with that route is they want you to buy huge amounts of the stuff, tho. I do buy from a chem supply house in Aus. I buy 25L jugs of 50% grade for about $A125, but I buy 4-5 of them at a time and co-op with some nearby growing friends to cut costs. If I buy only one 25L jug at a time, the price is much higher.
 
I am trying to find a higher concentrate than 17% myself in the UK.

I'm only after doing another google search for Hydrogen Peroxide and found this...Accepta 8101...

Would it be worth emailing that company?

Has anyone heard of this product, is it expensive, can it be used in hydro?
 
Be careful with the estimations of silver as a germicide. Compared to high strength H2O2, silver has only a very mild antipathogen effect. 20x the effect of H2O2 (whatever that means, dead is dead, how do you make microbes '20 times' deader?) sounds highly dubious if not simply false. I would not accept the sales claims without some independent verification.

There's also a lot of hype from new-agey sellers of colloidal silver products for human health muddying the waters at the mo.

Yeah, i get what your saying Al. The '20 times better' made me put a question mark over that product, it probaby costs a fortune aswell.

But still, us in the UK need stronger H202 than whats on offer.
 
If the stuff isn't priced outrageously compared to plain H2O2, it's probably worth a try, but I don't half expect the silver content will attract a high asking price . I harbour a few concerns about how silver will react with nutrients, as well, but I'm not versed well enough in chemistry to make predictions. Silver is somewhat reactive and may bind to some elements.
 
Listen up fellas after ring hydro shops at the end of the day this is what I found out:

Due to the terrorist plots (yes they seem to be in U.K. too) the availability of higher concentrated Hydrogen peroxide has been limited to the public because recently there were a group of bombers who purchased Hydrogen peroxide from a Hydro store near Scotland to make explosives.
Scotland Yard paid a visit to that Hydro shop and stated Hydrogen peroxide was one of the items out of 38 on a list used to manufacture explosives by those specific terrorists. This is what the store owner said.

Could this be why its difficult to purchase H2O2?
By the way the name of the Hydroponic store is growroomsuk.
 
I dont know about that, i know it gives of a gas, but i'm sure we could purchase more lethal liquids that H202.
Where i live it was the nitrogen in fertilizer was the main ingredient for homemade explosives. It and diesel.

I think i saw someone say the 1kg = 1 litre is that true. £1.80 per litre. If it is true then the product they are selling seems to very cheap, do you not think?

This chart sez that 50% grade is about 1.1-1.2kg/L.

Still, 1.8 squid per litre IS a good price! I pay $AUD5/L in 25L jugs.

Problem solved with a little hunting around, good going, fitzy. :)
