For you guys that keep records of all your plants. YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS!

I downloaded the trial version and played with it a little. So far Im in love. I do a lot of cloning, so its extra helpful to me. I simply view the mother plant & click "make clone". It imports the info into that clone. So this way I can keep tabs on EVERYTHING!!! Even the nutrients I give each plant & how much they grow.

Sorry.. But I turned "computer geek" on this one.

If anyone is already using it.. Please let me know if I should buy the real version. Looks cool so far.

i believe a user put some info on some FREE, SHAREWARE, grow software in the Black Briefcase section.

It shouldn't be too hard to modify hospitality software to the needs of a grow op, and setting up dispensing it in a manor similar to how restaurants put in orders, with everyone having a seperate card and what not.....

anyways, until weed becomes 100% legal, keeping detailed records of a commercial grow op is still not a good idea. i'd just keep the info encrypted on a CD, in case the calvalry is interested, light that bitch up on fire, let them try to pull info off it.....

I was thinking the same thing Redivider on modifying another pgm. Thats until I downloaded the trail version. This thing is just way too perfect.

I have already come to the realization that Im gonna get it. Not sure if I want to go with the one that comes with the travel drive. Im guessing that the info is never on my computer, just the travel drive. I like that part!

lol i was going to download this but then i went on to the link and found out that you had to pay for the real deal, so as a swed kindda guy i am i've decided that i am going to make this program basicaly, so my demand is please people, coders, photoshop ppl please help out with either opinions of what you guys would like kept and what you guys don't really like. I'm think best would be them photoshop ppl that can draw me out like layouts n stuff or maybe another coder to make like a gui and screen shot then add like photoshop/paint text over the image to display features and functions i guess. Thanks and i'm really stoned right now if this posted seems kind of funny but i will get to this and it will be free and it will be better :P. Although i do love it when people give me a helping hand, so maybe i'll do some research on how to setup a donation image to click on in my signatures place or something, first i must find a site with that feature (paypal... umm.. i wonder?) . well anyways the main point at hand is it will be freeware and hey i'm just a fellow Canadian here trying to hook up the general population, we do want this blessing from god legalized right. So i'm out for now to enjoy the rest of this trip :P :P but i'll keep you guys updated hey you never know maybe i'll have my pictures of my GUI that i have in mind. :P peace.

How lazy of a stoner are ya?

Most growers are SO in tune with what they that its almost pointless.

Secondly, now the lazy stoner has to type in the details and updates. (works for about 1/2 the grow before they lose interest and stop the updates leaving bad data for next round)

Its easier to just pick a plan and *stick to it* (maybe Split the plan if its going south big time) and track the 2 plans.

Not *everything* needs to be computerized. (and have a digital tail)
Just jot down in a notebook. Can use code for the paranoid, but having the room negates the need for code.


(now if full computerized, environment control, logging, control of water pH, etc, and its a hands off deal then it can be useful. But any hands on kills it)

well i wanna make my personal final version something like a AI system for my plants, that monitors all the temps in the room, measures light that the plant is getting to have like a electric light raisers, ph, you know the whole works. And somehow in the end i'll have it so the program will be like a second me, who knows maybe i'll have a fully auto system all controlled by a pc and with cams in the tents and shit. Should be cool :)

when they make a version that sees my plants and makes decisions based on there individuall needs i'm game but different plants have different needs they'll never make a computer to replace the weed farmer

hello all, I usually don't do this because like you I don't like spam. but I'm the developer of the Grow Assistant software and wanted to let you guys know that the reason my software costs money is because I have put many many hours of hard work into it. There is a freeware version that you are welcome to use without purchasing it. Of course it's not a full of features as the paid versions.

Where is your money going? Well not to a big corporation that's for sure! I'm a one man show here people. I also wanted to say that you will NEVER find a developer more open to making updates for my users. If you need the program to do something that it currently does not you just need to ask and I'll make the changes if possible. It's that easy!

My thoughts exactly, and I have seen and tried the trial of the software.
If one is in a legal state, your still 100% criminal to the feds. If busted by feds, they would be jacking themselves off with detailed growing information to use against you.
Until federal law changes, there is no such thing as legal marijuana and I will not be fooled into a false sense of security thinking that a paper from the state will protect me. I am not in one of those states, but even if, I know I would be screwed if busted by a fed.

Got that right... that paper is hardly worth the ink that was used to print it.
