Instantly, before I am even typing these first words, I can feel the hate that people will say regarding the use of MG, CFLs, and even Rubbermaid grows, but honestly, just don't bother.

Supplies:
2x 44gallon Rubbermaid Containers
1x White Widow x Big Bud seed
1x Kannabia Karamelo seed
1x Miracle Grow 1 cu ft potting soil
1x Miracle Grow Tomato Food
1x Miracle Grow Perlite
2x Self Watering 5 gallon bucket
2x 2700k grow light CFL
2x 6500k grow light CFL
4x Mylar Emergency Blanket (paid 3$ for them, and they're HUGEEE)
2x 120mm high flow pc fans
1x 6 inch personal fan

The basics of this grow are as follows. I shall germinate them, once the seeds arrive (another day or two), and begin the process. I will post pictures of the build of the enclosure, but I am going to let the bag do the work. I'll be using distilled water the entire time, with a 1/4th mix of the food for the first week, then 1/2, 3/4 and then full strength on the fourth week.

If you're going to bash Miracle Grow, just stop. My two buddies have grown the BBxWW cross in MG before, and I absolutely love it once it's properly cured, and dried. I'm damn excited to get this going, and I hope that people can just love the plant and the fact that I am growing to solve my medical problems.

Thanks for any CONSTRUCTIVE ASSISTANCE, regarding MG, or the grow box, but otherwise, I want ZERO NEGATIVE remarks. Positive.

Thanks guys, and I'll be posting a ton of pics as time goes on. :)

Hey man I'm excited to see what you have going on over there. I am in week 5 of flowering on my two plants. They've lived in a rubbermaid under CFLs their whole life. :) Also started them in MG soil with no problems at all. One of my seeds was actually an accidental sprout from a pot on my porch filled with MG, accidental in terms of I must have tossed that seed in there not knowing.

You don't have to have your flame-wall on full power either. There are a lot of nice, decent folk browsing these forums from my experiences. You should have no problem fitting in around here, friend! :)

Thanks.

Have you guys used MG through your whole grows? I'm wanting to figure that out, before I go into it, as to not kill the plants with a nut lockout or anything. Any advice will help.

Awesome, I am using a $3 bottle of Miracle Grow and getting the best results I've ever seen.. You are right on the ball. Hydro grow shops are for noobs and chumps. Just like Uncle Ben says: if you can grow a tomato plant you can grow bud

Do you worry about fert or anything? Or do you just use the basic potting soil?

I was going to mix some of the ferts, as some have a TON of N, when I should be cutting back on it.

Yes, Miracle grow is awesome. Find Uncle Ben's posts on Rollitup. He gives much better detail and information than any book I have read. Basically, it is a complete lie to starve your plants of nitrogen during bloom and there is also research to show that potassium is way over hyped. The MG i have is a 8-7-6 Ratio. Here are some pics. shitty camera sorry. WEEK 1.5 Flowering Girl Scout Cookies under 600 w HPS. In a 'grow tent'. I started out like most noobs and bought a grow tent and all the most expensive equipment, soil, lights. This 400 dollar tent has more duck tape on it ... lol . This is my 4th grow and going so awesome with MGIMG_0666.jpgIMG_0667.jpg

Go by what your plants want. Do not cut back on Nitrogen . Your leaves should be green all the way through harvest

That's awesome. Yeah, I am just wanting to kind of let it sit and relax. I don't want to have to measure the PH every 20 minutes... It's just something I want as a pet-project, not a lifestyle.

Not regarding Miracle Grow, one piece of advice I can give you from experience is your DAY/NIGHT temp needs to be 80 during the day and 70 at night. Get a good drop in temperature so your plants can metabolize carbs. I ran a grow that had equal night temp as day temp and it was so screwed up... the harvest was worthless and I lost a lot of money on power bill.

Uncle Ben says Weed is a PH tolerant plant and it is silly (for lack of a better word) to PH your nutrients or water. I do believe some Tap water can be harmful but probably nothing bad unless your living where there is extremely high chlorine or something stupid. I just use R/O water MG drops and keep it simple. You can find really cheap potting mix that will work better than any 12.99 bag of 'snake oiled bat shit from magic land' you get at a grow shop.

I can't find his posts regarding PH and MG. Do you have any links? Also, I drop my houses personal temp to around 70-72 at night anyways, and with the 2 fans, including the 6 inch fan. With only a small amount of CFLs, would I be able to get that drop in temp?

I saw all of these today at Home Depot, and wanted to know if anyone has ever used these with a time released soil?

During each cycle, what should I avoid? IE: Nitrogen, Phosphate, or Potassium?
