This is Ski Train from 303 Seeds in Denver. Arcata Trainwreck x Super Silver Haze x Pakistan Chitral Kush F2. Popped two beans out of a 6 pack, hoping for a female, but we'll see. Germination was quick and easy. The tadpoles went into organic peat based soil and sprouted just fine.CIMG6296.jpgCIMG6297.jpg

More very soon!

Here are a couple of shots of the kids at about 3 weeks. They've really taken off here, and are about ready for a transplant.

So these two got a new set of shoes and had a couple weeks to stretch out.
This is a little over 5 weeks here. We've got confirmed female preflowers on the second plant! Very pleased to get a girl.

Got the girl repotted and into flower. Here are a couple pics of her in her new 3 gallon bag of organic soil. The other Ski Train plant was also female, but a local caregiver had come to me after an accident in their grow desperately trying to restock their garden. So I donated #2 to the community along with some other cuts and sexed seedlings. I have limited access to that grow as well, so I should be able to provide some pictures as that pheno matures.

This pheno really branched out and was self trained. I did not top, supercrop or lst this girl, she just did that on her own. I really like plants with this type of branching structure as it really reduces the amount of time you spend training the plant for flower production.
More soon!

Here are some shots of the Ski Train F2 girl at about 2 weeks. Relatively low stretch so far, which is an indication that the Paki Chitral Kush is coming out a lot more in the F2's. That is what the crew had in mind for this one. The Ski Train "original" mom was selected with mostly trainwreck dominant traits and still has some of the "floppy" tendencies late in flowering. This pheno has taken on some of the Purple Paki heavy father traits, so hopefully I can look forward to some of the blackberry and cherry terpenes mixed with the citrus of the Arcata.

Here we are at about three weeks. Trichome coverage is excellent even at this early stage, and this pheno appears to have more of the Paki Chitral father in it. Still has the unmistakeable trainwreck smell when I touch the buds though...yum.

I'm heading to denver for the weekend, where can I grab some 303 seeds?
If you're in Denver South you can go to Altitude Wellness off Hampden and Yosemite, if you're near Downtown or North Denver you can go to Sunnyside Alternative Medicine on 38th and Mariposa St (basically 38th and Pecos). I believe they both have all of the strains in stock.

Looking good BP! I'm going to try to get my Shooting Stars cracking this weekend. I am definitely getting excited for it after seeing this girl!
You're going to love that SS...
We're actually a couple weeks ahead of the post in the real world...wait until you see the pics of her next week! I'll get them up in the next couple days.

Really starting to enjoy the show on this girl, she is just cranking out the trichomes here at week 4. Much denser bud growth and closer internode spacing compared to the mom, so this is showing some more of the Paki Chitrali traits. Amazing smell too, the citrus of the trainwreck is starting to shine through.:-P

By early next year we should have distribution set up in all of the major areas. There are a lot of centers that do not carry seeds, and don't seem to be interested in carrying seeds at all. As a customer, let them know you are interested in buying seeds on a regular basis and I think they'll be more likely to consider our products.

I know our sales guy has gotten the "why would I sell my customer a seed, it means they won't come back for medicine" line from quite a few places. So it seems that the centers just don't understand the patient buying seeds doesn't come to them for medicine except when they are between harvests. Our other hurdle is Centennial Seed Co stocked pretty much every center that was willing, then never did any advertising and had a herm prone, low quality product that never sold. We're getting the "I've had 10 packs of Centennial Seeds on the shelf for 18 months" statement from centers too. Hopefully we can change their perspective. :wall:

Hey Budpatch - she is looking frosty and tasty!

I wondered how receptive the MMCs would be to selling seeds. Too bad Centennial screwed it up for you. They seem more focused on marketing than product quality.

I'm dropping my Shooting Stars in the water today to get them going. Look for a journal to start in a week or two...

Later,
