I found a pack of 10 Lowryder Blue Ryder regular auto seeds and decided to get back into growing. I germed those 10 seeds around the 12th of Sept. and they sprouted on the 16th so now they're 2 days old. All but 1 of the seeds sprouted, so there is a total of 9. Ill be putting my plants in a 3'x3'x5' grow space made from a wood frame covered with black and white poly to keep light from the outside out. Inside I will use a 400W metal halide for veg and a 400W high pressure sodium for flowering. I hope to get at least 4 or 5 female plants into flowering and average yield 1.5-2 ounces per plant. I havent decided what I'll use for ventilation but I have a couple big computer fans that I can push fresh air in and hot air out... when my 400W MH light comes in the mail Ill have some heat issues so I might do an inline fan setup eventually.
We'll see:weed:

Ill post pics sometime tomorrow hopefully.

no computer can can or will cool a 400w. It's time for an inline fan and a carbon filter

Here are some pictures from yesterday of my 9 Blue Ryder's, they are 2 days old in these pics. I finished building the frame of my 3'x3'x5' grow tent, all i need is to vistit my grow shop and pic up some panda film, pots, a themometer and soil.

Sorry for the cell phone pics. I still need some direction on finding the right cfm inline fan to cool a 400W HID in a 3x3x5 tent.

i have a 3x4x5.5 tent with a 400W Dual Ballast HID

I use 2, 240CFM fans exhaust. I use an air cooled hood, and pull my air from outside the room for both independently.

I can get my light about 9 inches from the plants.. and keep my room between 70 and 80 with no A/C

Here's an update from the end of day 3, they are in Fox Farms Light Warrior soil and are being watered with tap that has sat out for a couple days. pH is about 6.5. I will transplant into some fresh Ocean Forrest soil but not sure on pot size, what do you suggest? Right now I have 1 sq foot of area for each plant if that gives you an idea on grow space.

The fourth pic seems to be the runt, anyone know what might be wrong with it?

Also I'm running these under a flourescent tube on a 24/0 light schedule. I plan on changing once my metal halide comes in probably tomorrow, but I'm not sure what schedule i should follow? What do you think is best 18/6 or 20/4??? Don't forget to vote on my poll

Sorry for the late update, my metal halide came in the mail and I took a few pictures of it. Compared to cfl's this thing is really bright.

I think I'll close this thread since there isn't many replies, to the people that did reply thanks. I used old ff soil that got dried out so without thinking I revitalized it with non pHed tap water which fucked my soil over. I never got the pH back into range and the plants are over a week old and I havent seen any progress. I might just chop them or maybe throw them out in the forest to grow idk.

Ill be starting another thread soon with some LSD, Big Bang, and Kushadelic seeds that are germing right now.

I decided to keep the Blue Ryders, no need to waste seeds. I've been watering the ryders with distilled water with there first shot of nutes at 194 ppm about 5 days ago. When I first introduced nutes I noticed there was a male plant so I chopped him down. The top 3 Blue Ryders in the first pic were transplanted into 3 gal poly grow bags with FFOF soil and do was the very center BR plant, the rest are in light warrior soil. I recently lowered my light to about 16-18 inches over the plants. The ph of the water has been in the 5.9-6.2 range, I dont have a soil ph meter. I need your opinion on the best way to test soil ph with a water ph meter???

I have set up my tent with panda pilm to cover three sides and have hung the 400 watter inside. There is a window fan blowing outside air inside my closet and a small desk fan on the open side blowing the air around in the tent and the temps have been 86ish during lights on and 78ish lights off. I plan on ordering my 4 inch inline and setting that up asap, but temps havent been too bad I think the hottest it got was 91 on a really warm day. Once i get the fan I'll completely seal the grow tentwith panda film on all four sides and on top.

Another question i have is how big should i make the passive intake hole??? I will have the fan pulling air through the cabon filter and pushing through an air cooled euro hood with glass and out of my closet???

I sprouted a couple more plants to help fill the floor space. Out of 3 purple jems 1 sprouted today, 1 of 1 DNA Genetics Sour Cream 7 days old, and 1 of 2 Greenhouse Seeds Big Bang 8 days old. I plan on keeping the Sour Cream and Big Bang as mothers and doing a pertetual grow with 12/12 cuttings, but we'll see. I also tried germing 2 LSD seeds but they didnt take.

I have another pack of Dutch Passions BlueBerry Fem seeds, was wanting some info on how those grow, nutes light, watering, any other needs???

Finally found my camera charger so no more cell phone pics, enjoy and sorry for misted pics:weed:

I woke up this morining to my lights not being on schedule. They were off when they should have been on. I have them on a timer and I heard there was a power outage so Im guessing my light was off for more than 4-6 hours. I turned it back on and my plants werent looking to good, all of their leaves were kind of drooped over. Ill keep them on the schedule they were on.
