First Journal and First Grow

i am currently growing a skywalker plant that i got from a clone, she is in a grow tent that is 5 ft tall and 2x2 squared. i am using a 80w=400w Daylight cfl right now for veg, and i have another 70w=300w soft white cfl that i am saving until it is time for me to to put my plant into flower. i put my clone into a big pot from the start with ocean forest soil from fox farms. i am giving my plant nutrients but just some that my local hydroponic store gave me for free to hold me off a couple of months. i am currently in my 5th week of growing and i just tied my plant down today. here are some pics of my plant from the day i planted her till now.fffffff.jpgffffffff.jpgffff.jpgdownsized_0517011319.jpgPrincess Leia.jpgView attachment 1620066View attachment 1620067View attachment 1620069

nice LSTing! get more of them bulbs or get the 1's you have a bit closer and you'll have lots of tasty bud sites. good lookin grow so far i'll subscribe and keep watchin here as well

thanks i appreciate it, i have had the lights 1-2 inches away from my plant so it wouldnt stretch out but it still did and thats why i decided to LST my plant. i will post pics in a couple of days showing how it is responding to the tying down, so far my plant is really liking it and mostly all the leaves turned to face the light within 24hrs of getting tied down.

hey guys i know its been a while since i last posted a picture. i bet a few of you are wondering how the plant is looking since i tied her down. this is my plant right before i tied it downdownsized_0526011657.jpg and here she is almost 3 weeks later2 months.jpg this is also her at 2 months old let me know what you guys think!

thanks man, i really hope it keeps getting more bushy. im not to sure how much longer until i should put it into the flowerng stage. i just tied down so more branches yesterday so i could make more of a even canopy at the top, im hoping that my plant will be ready within a month

i have 6 cfls in my tent. i have one on each corner which you can see and then i get 2 huge cfls hanging from the top. i move it everytime i take a pic because its too close to plants and i cant get a good picture. i will have more pics posted so just stick around and let me know what you think

you cant wait? you can only imagine how i am over here i cant stop thinking about it, i swear all my friends probably cant wait for it to be done to but mainly not because of the weed but because they know i will stop talking about it so damn much! hahah and thank man i will for sure keep the good work hope fully my plant does as well, you have any grows going or any exprience under your growing belt?

Haha I hear that. It gets even harder to wait when they're curing lol. Right now I have a perpetual SOG with half soil and half passive soiless hydro. I need to make get a journal going, but I just sold my camera and I'm a little strapped for cash for now. I've been growing outdoors for about 5 years now and indoor for 2. Still seeing what works best for my situation and dialing in strains, nutes, and what not.

thats quite a bit of harvests you got there bro, what kind of strains did you grow? around how much are you yeilding? if you dont mind going into details it would be appreciated

Outdoor I started with bagseed the first season and since then I've grown Durban Poison, Afghan, Afghooey Delicious, Cannalope Haze, and Easyryder (I was in to autoflowers for awhile. Fail.)
Indoor I've grown Lowryder 2, Easyryder, AutoWidow, White Dwarf (all autos), Emerald Jack, Cannalope Haze, and am currently growing White Widow and Super Sour OG. I'm just starting flowering, but which ever of these two I like better I am gonna stick with for at least a year and learn it in and out.

As for yield I don't own a scale so I'm not really sure. Every time I've harvested enough to last me, my parents, and some friends until the next harvest. This round I'm doing a Hempy SOG under a 400w HPS and I'm planning/hoping for around 500g dry. I'm gonna find a cheap camera pretty soon and get a journal going I guess.

yeah you really should get a journal man i would for sure subscribe to it. how did the auto flower do when you tried it indoors? i am thinking about doing a like 3 or 4 plants in my 2x2x5 tent and doing them all 12/12 from seed with a 400w hps. i should be able to get over a ounce per plant in around 12weeks................ hopefully ahaha
