My Current Grow - A Journal

I got 2 chambers running, I will only cover the one thats flowering in this journal.
Some clones have been added to the grow, but the main ones sprouted on 20/8.
From left to right I got Cloud #9 (Dinafem), Blue Mystic (Nirvana), Sweet Deep Grapefruit (Dinafem), Ice Kush (Advanced) and Jack the Ripper (Subcool).
They were under 12\12 from seed and started flowering around 1/10.

I had a 400W over them for most of the way but changed to a 600W around 2 weeks ago.

They are grown in one pot thats around 20L total with an organic mix.
I don't use brand name fertilizers, only gave them the occasional AACT and a few days ago a very light dose of seaplants fertilizer that I've made by fermenting the water squeezed from various seaplants.

I had heat issues that have been solved lately, some leaves got burnt, mainly on the JTR. Nothing major.

Stay tuned :)

Very interesting. Have you harvested anything from that kind of setup yet? Were you trying to get complete 360 coverage around the light?
Somewhat off topic, in your previous grow you hermied a plant in a pc case. What light schedule did you use to achieve that and did you have feminized seeds afterwards?

Check my previous grow, I've used a SCROG.
This is my first non-bottled nutes, organic, one pot SCROG.

I might change my setup to a vertical one next time for a 360° coverage, but for now its too much work.

I've done a scrog around a cooltube with a CFL that was 360° but it was a crappy grow that yielded only 8.8g. I used only a 45W CFL for all the grow and went organic with almost no nutes.
In the summer heat of Israel.

None of those plants hermied except for the Great White Shark, but the male flowers were sterile.
I've used a 12\5\1\6 light schedual if I recall correctly.
They died in a heat wave.

Currently I only have pollen from a Blue Mystic by Nirvana.
I got some subcool stuff I'll hopefully find a good male from.

I might dust a Cloud #9 clone with the blue mystic pollen for the heck of making seeds.

Thanks for tuning in :-)

P.S.
Great, now you got me thinking too hard about going vertical...

A vertical setup would do the same thing with much less veg time and would be much easier to manipulate.
You would also be able to change a plant at a time, which you usually can't do properly in a SCROG.

A Cloud #9 stem broke so its some more bud meanwhile~

This is how the chamber looks without them today:

And now that the SDG is out of the way I could take pictures of the Ice Kush.

Welcome ~

I'm almost finished with this run. The JTR and C#9 are ready to go.
The Ice Kush has a week or two and I need to check on the Blue Mystic but from my experience it wouldn't mind the wait.

In the picture - the first nugs of the SDG to dry - the biggest bud of the bunch.

Well, yield was just a tiny bit over 100g, which is totally crappy. I got everything fixed for my other runs.
2 clones from the C#9 that shared the space will be down in a week but they were'nt from the starting plants.

The Blue Mystic yielded around 8.5 grams and was pretty frosty but nothing worth taking a picture of.

I've tried the SDG and C#9 and both are VERY potent.
The SDG is couchlock indica that is very agressive. Very nice smell and taste.
The C#9 is a GREAT sativa dom. cross. Smells and taste peppery (something like fertilizers, although I haven't used anything that could do it) and the high is very visual and thoughts provoking. I love it but the buds are airy and I don't see it yielding much in my setup so I'll finish my current clones from it and its gone.

Haven't done the rest, but I've grew the BM quite a few times before (for two years) and I know what to expect. I'll probably keep it to cure for a month before smoking it.
Its the best weed I ever grew to mix with other kinds of weed in the joint. Its not strong but if you manage to get high its very simple and straight forward and balanced high. Other weed strains makes the mix potent but some of the high from the BM remains - which is awesome :)
Smoking it alone is not that great compared to the rest of my stash.
