Ok so after I couple of months I finally got to pull out my sun hut xl and start another grow it has been a tough time not being able to have anything growing but it has also giving me some time to do more reasearch and planning so hopefull i can improve on my results from my first run i will also have a chance to constantly have plants in flower so i can look to refine my methods and lock down my nutrient regime. I will also have a change to work with some real quality genetics as i have purchased two different packs of seeds from the cali connection:
DeadHead OG ('91 Chemdawg(skunk va) X SFV OGK F4) - This is the famed Original 91 chemdawg AKA the skunk VA cut. as it was the only verified cut chem gave out. his online screen name is Skunk VA. hence the reference..The legend of legends. the creator of so many legendary strain like OG Kush, Sour Diesel and so forth. This cut was crossed to my SFV OGK F4 male. think Lemon Funk skunk...

Sour OG ( Original Sour Diesel X SFV OGK F4) - Sour OG is my originl sour d cut which is aj's cut as in the first cut to come out of his room of the sour d collection.. the precursor to ecsd. its that cut crossed to my sfv ogk f4 male. I expect stellar results to come from this cross.. Prob my personal most anticipated crosses.. Off spring shows great structure and solid kolas with fuel sour kerosine funk.

I plan on spending some time with these seeds in hopes to find some nice phenos as well as maybe even a strong male for breeding but we shall see only time will tell.
As for now I have my room up and running i am starting of my inaugrual run with stardawg a cut i acquired from my good friend at APE at peoples nuresry care. So grab a chair and roll up a joint its time that this grow begins.

Medium:Canna Coco mixed 30 % pearlite
Growing style:Flood & drain
Methods: Topping
Base Water:City tap 500 ppm 7.5 ph
Nutes:House and Garden Aqua Flakes A and B
Additives:House and Garden multi zen, bud xl, top booster, and shooting powder mad farmer MOAB General Hydroponics Flora Nectar Fruit n Fusion Cal- Mag
pH:5.5 to6.0, using GH Ph Down
PPM at 0.07 conversion: 900ppm –1500ppm
Reservoir size: 40 gallons filled with 30 gallons
Water Temp:60f will lower into upper 50s for last weeks of flowering
Flood volume: 7-10 Gals depending on pots/flood height
Feeding schedule:Flood about every other day to once a day for 15 to 20 mins
Lights: 600w sunmaster for flowering and t5 for veg and clones

ok so i have had my 12 stardawg clones since June 13th 2010 i orig placed in one gal pots but du to lack of drainage and size i transplanted into 6 inch net pots there were looking a lil over watered but now are turning back around for the better i also mixed up 30 gallons of my vegs nuts they came out to 5.5 ph and ppms were 1000 at .07 conversion and will proble flood in the next day

Ok so this week was somewhat eventful trying to get the plants situated i finally got everything where i pretty much want it at the moment things are looking nice starting to see some nice lush new growth i went throgh and topped a few of them and fimmed a couple i may be discarding a few as they are slower then the rest but we shall see how they gothis week i plan on changing the lights ange getting ready for bloom with in the next 10 to 14 days we shall see i also went ahead and poped one of my deadhead og seeds and i have a sprout going its going well still inside my dome will be transplanting probly with in the next week or so i will also be getting my veg/ mother cabinet set up within the next week or so i also have some pics of my new seedling and will be posting nutrient chage and pics for tomorrow as well

hey kali good to see you back in the saddle man youre really sporting some genetics & juggling around nutes [something i have to get brave enough to do] im tuned in for the duration im learning every grow ,the pineapple chunk is so new no one has finished a grow yet[at least to my knowlege] at least you did your homework on your strains & the cool part you got stuff that is not mainstream strains. ill be watching h.h.

yea its good to get things up and going again i sure due miss my gardening and i feel you on the new nutes and new strain it is kinda scary especially bc you dont know what will happen the fear of the unknown but since my last grow i have been reading and planning talking toa few people about growing and diff techniques and diff theories and there is really so many diff lil things yoou can do to produce a solid outcome but i hope this new nutrient recipe works out and i can get my grow room at a constant i feel i will be doing well as of right now things are realy starting to take off though starting to get some nice growth on all of them i cant wait to see the end product and a s far as the genetics go i know i got some good stuff i am looking forward to the sourog as i really love sour d it really help stimulates my apitite and to have one of the better sour d cuts crossed with sfv og its just gonna wicked and the deadhead speaks for itself speaking of a deadhead i heard chem poped the last two seeds and is growing them out maybe he will get a male or even better yet another amanzing chem

Ok so over the last few days there has been some nice new growth on the clones the are really starting to get their roots going i laid down my coca mat after the first two waterings i then chagned the rez a few days ago and bumped up my ppms from 1000 to 1250 most of the plants seem to be responding very well to the stronger feeding and have really taking off in growth there is some slight nute burn on the smaller ones but nothering to really worry about the dead head seedling is also starting to pick up some speed to i will probly start feeding nutes on the next watering

Subscribed, damn that setup list looks familiar lol, it's all good I jacked it from Snutter I wish I could get some headband, shit sounds dank! I have to order everything in these parts, it's not quite like cali. Girls are looking like they are still getting roots established. I love when they finally set in really well and they start taking off, should be very soon for you. I love my pro grips on my light, how bout you? Spotted them in one of the pics.

i have a headband mama & some offspring my friend is getting ready for the babies & ill keep tabs on that grow as well w/ pics & techniques coming soon

yea headband is og x sour d a true handband cut is tough to come by down here i hope i get some cool phenos from the seeds i mean come on ajs sour d and swerves sfv f4 just sounded way to tastey i wanna see how it compares to ur headband cut cause i know u got the real deal we should sit down and compare smoke on it one day herk that be something compare and contrast these strains

sg its good to see yourfinally here i now you have been super busy with all your work finishing up your 3rd run and starting to flower the 4th man oh man enjoy that finger hash and yea thinks for the list i saw its going around very good way to post the the information i just had to take it lol yea your right too kinda got some offtwo a slow start like 4 are just blowing and nad the others are kinda just crusing i think its cause i overwatered in the begining but i cam back and saw lost of new growth on them so hopefully they all start taking off and ill be able to flower out this run and move on to my seeds and start running them and seeing what i get but sg u can get these genetics thats whats great chk caliconnection.com he list the websites that sell his seeds and i know swerves been going over and starting to get things rolling in the EU and may even be on attitude soon that be sweet i know he compteted at the cannabis cup last year too i hope things kep going where he can expand cause he gets some of the best cuts and stuff i mean people are mailing him their clones and stuff all the time

hey kali i wish you was closer or maybe we could figure a way to at least exchange a little culture so to speak i dont know if you remember me growing a little purplewreck ??? it was a good one too im developing a softspot for this headband & believe it or not the locals cen-cal arent that tuned into it i guess its a nor-cal original & my friend got babies in sac. area dispensary & i gotta say its pretty darned good & remember i grew some sour/d & couldnt get it to yield??? i dont think i had the real deal so back to looking around at that one again from a different source the club i bought some of my first babies from i think is the culprit but theyre now shut down any way & its a ''live & learn experience'' for me anyway im tuned in & watching & ill keep ya posted on the headband experience coming soon its so lankey & different 4 me

yea herk i def wish i was closer cali is so big but deff would love to exchange some culture and stuff it be a good time and yes i remeber that purplewreck how did it turn out for you better tasting then the mango i hope and yea headband is one of my top strains to smoke right now along with sour d you know i always thought it was wierd the sour d never produced for you i know a guy who grows pretty much just sour d and loves it due to the yeild and its very easy to feed and maintain and like you said it could be the club you got it from maybe mislabled or not very strong genetics its tough to trust co ops with getting clones some times and i cant wait to see how ur headband finishes up this summer should be some more great smoke headed your way

ok so today i changed out my res and mixed my first week bloom nutes the lights were set to 12/12 and flowering has begun pretty much all of the plants have taken off and exploded in growth i hope the strech is not too much cause i feel my lil table will soon be packed hopefully with nice buds we shall see though gonna be gone this next week going to the river got every thing set up on timer and lets hope it all goes well and nothing fails ill try6 and post some pics before i leave of the plants they have changed alot been toping n lsting them hopefully this helps some on my yeild

Sounds good man, I love when i get my table up and running...speaking of which I've been putting off a rez change myself haha. O I got the 1kw up and running with a dual arc super blue, you were right about 2 months. Can't wait to see some pics!

yea i do too i love when things start falling in to place and i think its finally getting there nice on the1 k the dual arc are sick i hear man your gonna be rockin with that lamp i cant wait to see what you pull from under it yea and yea i figured that be about the time ud get as you finished another harvest lol

Ok so i just finished up the first week of 12/12 and i have to say there have been a few bumps in the road along the way first when i got back from my trip my seedling had died the plug for the light fell out the soceket and so it had no light for a good 5 days or so it is dead but i did start 3 more deadheads they all have sprouted and look to be going well so we shall see what happens with them the next mishap was one of my plants was infected with spider mites i immediated pulled it from the garden and it was just nasty it looks like it may have spread some to the plant next to it so i removed the lower branches they showed some signs of the mites i wil be going to the hydro shop later not to sure what to get was looking at azamax i think it is called any suggestions in regards to pest control would be reallyy helpful i also took some time and spoke to an house and garden rep about their nutrient line up and realized i should not have over looked the roots excel so im going to also be grabing a bottle of that too today and then latter i will change my res so i can add the roots and i will also be treating the spider mites its also been hot the last two weeks os i have been running my ac andtemps are holding strong at no more the 77 f which is nice here are some pics from the end of week 1 flowering i didnt post this last time but i aslo started adding bud xl

azamax can work in the rez but its slooooow...it's a molting interrupter. If your not around them more then 4 hours/day you can use hot shots no pest strips to knock them out great... but not organic blah blah. just remove them in about a week when the infestation is gone and be careful to not inhale the fumes, they can make u sick.

that is sick herk your stepin it up my friend i cant wait to see both rooms in action do you know how you are going to set up your room r you going two big tables or going like 4 3x3 1 under each 1k and get a harvest every two weeks or so that will be sweet to see in action

yea that was one of the option i was looking at trying out i went to green leaf hydro yesterday they seemed to be the only one open on sunday within like 20 miles they had no azamax they barely had ane pest pervention stuff i grab a samlll bottle of the sns 217 supposed to stop the mites n its organic too only cost 10 bucks so i got a lil bottle spayed some lst night on my plants and on the top of the coco we shall see im going to stop by another hydro shop and get the h and g roots and grab some azamax hopefully it will end it if not i will be probly grabing some doctor doom and just wipe them out if the continue into week three fings crossed i dont need to go that far
