Bquamb & s7even's Tighty Whitey Grow Journal (RIU Exclusive)

Hello to my fellow RIU Brothers and Sisters, It's Bquamb here with some exciting news.

s7even and I are about to start (tomorrow the 19th) our 2nd grow with some bought seeds this time.
A few of you might have read out thread on "Plant problems" forum that got a lot of attention.
Now it's time to do it right! (If you haven't seen the Problem journal (exceeding 300 posts ) it is linked in my signature below.

Time for the exciting part.

This is going to be a Basic CFL closet grow but we have faith we'll be able to succeed this time with an amazing plant or two.
We bought our seeds from www.bcseeds.com and ordered the "Tighty Whitey" Strain.

It looks AMAZING and White. Exactly what I like to see =) So we have a total of 11 seeds.
Unfortunately we can only plant 2 (Max) at a time and will be updating our progress daily or
Casual daily (every 1-2 days) for your input and help as well.

Lmfao at the what ya smokin joke lol I'm so high right now that was hilarious. Sorry the 4:20 took a little longer cuz I brought a variety. Scissor hash, Resin that I scraped from a 3 year old pipe, Some fresh trim, and some Buds I took from today. Dam I gotta work tomorrow! Fuck! Gotta go to bed fellas catcha tomorrow.

Yea im not too found of the name either that's why im just gunna give it my own name when I blaze my buddies up with it, just dont know what to call it yet I'm shur the name will come at the apropriate time kinda like naming your new bong or pipe i sappose and it's about time I catch some Z's
If all goes acording to plan tomorrow we should have some new pics of our new set up tomorrow night ish

its a program on my phone when every time my email gets a mail sent to it, it "pushes" it to my phone instantly, so it helps me keep up to date on the forum when im gone out for the day

soooy ou just planting them seed or u gunna try geremanting them?

I think we may plant them in holed plastic cups, let them sprout and transplant them into its new home Mr. Big pot.

S7even said he's going to try and get some soil and other stuff today so we'll see when I meet up with them after work =)

I read through a bunch of your grow journal. Glad to see you got lights figured out. I'd recommend you look up posts by Uncle Ben and riddle me. They both have some excellent threads for Noobies.

ok so I found the most Organic type of soil I could possibly find today. has perlite and peat moss pre mixed in it so all we need to add to this mix is rocks at the bottom of the final pots for drainage, as for planting them in there lil plastic cups im just about to run down to the dollar store and pick up some red plastic cups (usally the ones u use at parties ^_^) When Bquamb gets here we'll post some pics of the matierials were gunna use for starting them out fuck i cant wait!! does seed size make a diff at all? somthing i was thinking about because i want to be able to pick the 2 best looking seeds so is there a way of checking without destroying a seed?

I'd pick the plumpest seeds, but it shouldn't matter if you trust the source (obviously you know it) Just be gentle with them while you decide. I like the jiffy pots (2" paper square shape, then you can put into the soil when they sprout and they breakdown) Good luck

here's a pic of a couple I'm trying to save in the Jiffy Cups

those are peat cups and yea i have those on hand and how i did my first grow actually works well but 1 of plants never broke the peat wall so this time were putting them in plastic cups with holes in the bottom for like 3 days for them to get some strength to be ready for transplant into there final pot. we forgot that we actually need to let them activate in water for 12hrs so I'll be planting the 2 seeds in the morning, today we got it all set up to the right height to the cfl's and were ready to go

lol hopefully there sitting at the bottom of the water when
you look at them, i just wannt see them growing already lol.

when they sprout, wait like 6,7 days for good roots to develope

then fill your pot to however full you wan them and take a empty drink cup,
center it, press it down to make a hole in the dirt, pull the cup out then drop the
dirt ball with lotsa roots in this whole and cover it up a little. seemed too work
really well for me.
