White Widow / Jack Horror first tent grow!

Alright so here is my current setup along with a list of stuff I am adding within the next couple of weeks.

- 4x4x7 mylar grow tent
- 600 watt hps/mh and digital ballast
- Air cooled hood
- Space heater on timer (cold at night)
- 4-5 Jack Horror plants from Nirvana
- 4-5 White Widow plants from Nirvana
- 4 ft long t8 fluorescent 2700k
- 12 x 5 gallon pots
- oscillating fan
- Organic soil mix (peat moss, perlite, vermiculite, starter nutes, etc..)
- Fox Forrest nute trio (3x quarts for soil)


What I need:
- 20 ft of ventilation equipment
- ocillating fan
- In line 400cfm exhaust fan (hooks to light setup)



I started about 3 weeks ago, sprouted 3 of each seed and ended up with 3 Jack Horror's and 1 White Widow (will be germinating the rest during the grow as mothers to clone in the future).

My plan:
Harvest - late may /early june
Goal - .6g per watt (360g)
Plants - 8-9
Training - undecided

I have been feeding my plants 26oz of water every 2nd day

I will be trying to update once or twice a week from now on. Also I am currently screwing with my camera to get things working, I can't upload any pics right now because they are too big and I don't know how to scale them yet.


Anyways, the plants have about 3-5 nodes on them and I am thinking about training maybe one or two of them. Might to LST but I am open to topping as well, I want quantity with this first harvest, must pay off the costs of the setup! (~$1200)

Sounds good, looking forward to seeing the Jack Horror. I'm in the 3rd week of flowering a Nirvana WW myself. I topped it after the 4th node, no reason other than it was getting to big for my room. I'll stay tuned.

Nice have a journal I can checkout? I am just playing around with some photos right now, trying to shrink them is difficult

Okay so I am still waiting on my ballast to get here, the first one they sent me didn't work so now the girls are getting a bit too big for the 80watts of fluoro light on them.

I have fed them twice now with grow big and big bloom by foxfarm, seems to be working pretty good. These things really do grow themselves, almost no work is required!

Now I need your help!

I went away for 3 nights and had my roommate take care of them. One of my plants that I was LSTing had apparently grown up so much that it took a hook out of the soil. So he tried to put the hook back in the soil and bend the stem back down and it legitimately snapped the top off of it. I tried to clone the top for fun but it didn't take.

So now I have this shitty LST'd plant that may not grow to be 1/2 as big as the others. I was thinking, should I grow it out and then use it to make about 12 clones and try to flower what I have left when i shift to flower (3 weeks)?

Or just let nature take it's course and flower with the others?

The second plant from the left is the only WW, it has been topped/fimmed the other three are Jock Horror, two have been LST'd and one is natural.

anybody have any advice on what I should do with this topped plant that has an open hole in the stem?

Just thought I would let everyone know that I grow purely for my own medicinal purposes, I do not sell marijuana or try to profit off of it, it is simply here to help me with pain I have had as a result of multiple surgeries.

I have had the plants under the 600 watt MH for 5 days and the growth is outstanding since the move. They were under 2 fluoro tubes (40 watt each) for over 2.5 months barely staying alive.

I have some questions if you can help I will +rep you!

- When should I flip over to flowering (max plant height = 4.5 ft)?

- Should I move my light closer than 10" (it has a tempered glass container and is constantly kept cool from the 435cfm fan), the plants are showing no stress from the lights and I dont want plants to stretch too much.

- Should I shut my in-line fan off for more than an hour every 6 hours? I am 24/0 with the MH light as I do not have a heater to heat the space for the 6 hours it is off.

- How much do you think my plants will yield? (3 jack horrors (2 LST'd + supercropped) + 1 WW that has been topped and supercropped)
