Critical Mass/femnized bluehash/Feminized Hashplant Haze/Bagseed indoor grow

Hi everyone, first time grower here. The plan is to grow these indoor for 4-5 months then bring them outdoors for sunlight. I have a t5 8 bulb pioneer grow on the way for the side without any lights. Any advice would be appreciated throughout this process. Pictures will be updated often for everyone. Here are a few pics of the room and the seedlings that have sprouted. One question do they look like there stretching?

Nice room design man, i hate when people dont comment on your threads. It looks like jus an opinion wich you said you wanted, tht your lights arent close enought to your seedlings...three inches at most...the futher away the light, the more light you lose...make sense...and thats a good idea to veg then go outside, ive been thinkin about doin that with 2 or 3 of my clones, those babys should be 2.5 foot tall by then...good lck and keep me posted, im doinmy firstrow now whatcha think dude

Others are withering over and dying.I am wanting around 900 plants would you advise starting all by seed or starting 50 seed an clone the rest?:wall:

seedlings like high humidity 45% or more.the pics posted are kinda blurry ,also dont water so much back off some ,wait until its a lil dry on top .another way is to fill a dry one. heft it to see its weight. then water it ,heft it to see weight. then you will know when to water it. its possible you are over watering . its impossible to tell by the pics . please post another one a little clearer . did you check out the link i gave you or talk to riddleme

With that many seedlings you should really be looking into a shelf system

Whole chapter on it in Mel's Insider book

You need to get at least 2, 2 bulb T8 flouro fixtures (they are like $10 at walmart) then get 6500K or Daylight bulbs, 32 or 40 watt doesn't matter

this will give all of your seedlings correct light coverage and stop the stretching as you'll be able to put them all under it and get it 2 inches above them all, plus it won't burn them

the fix for the stretchie ones is to upcan them (transplant in bigger containers, not to big) get cups that are 2 or 3 inches taller and put your weak seedlings dirt and all into the taller cup and fill with dirt until it is a 1/2 to 1 inch below the first leaf (cotyledon), the stretchy stem will turn into roots so don't worry bout that

the leaf damage looks like light burn to me so just cut the burnt end off the leaf (leave the green part) sharp clean, sterle scissors!

also looks like you may be overwatering?

well if anything i am not watering enough some have dried up and withered, died i believe. I am purchasing a 8 tube 4ft 54 watt t5 light system tomm would that work perfect?here are some updated pics take a look

Alright well everyone tells me foxfarm is good for soil I did not understand that last sentence you wrote?/? An should i not start with maybe 1tsp per gallon cause it says 2 for every gallon ?

So this is your first grow? 900 plants is a lot of plants to tackle for a newbie, even for an experienced grower. Remember experience is priceless. I'm sure you realize this already.

If you start a crop too early you will have to transplant into much larger pots before you will be able to transplant outside. Otherwise the plants will become root bound. Also a three foot plant will be very difficult to relocate when the time comes, especially if you plan to grow a large quantity of plants. 1 to 1 1/2 feet would be more realistic. You might consider cloning these plants when they become large enough, if they are worthy of cloning (female).

Another thing you might want to consider is quality. 10 high quality healthy plants will produce more smoke than 50 unhealthy plants and they will be much easier to over see. With that said, consider getting some quality feminized seeds or female clones to improve your yield.

Plan plan plan ahead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You'll thank yourself later. :bigjoint:

Alright well I have a plan to move them outdoors when the time comes. Now I plan to clone them and have a few questions. Can I twist tie a trash bag to a stem so that it gets 12/12 of light or do I have to clone and switch the light to 12/12 because then id have to seperate my room and that would be a pain in the ass... Also at what age can I clone?

The pictures are a bit rough, but it appears as if they are drying out. Keep in mind they do not have an established root system as new seedlings, so all the moisture they receive will be via foliar and the first inch of your soil mix until the tap root extends downward. As seedlings, you want to keep that top layer in the soil hydrated and high moisture in the surrounding air. Domes work well too. No nutrients needed (outside the optional B-1 series for faster root development) and I recommend aerating your water with an air stone to increase available O2 for the roots. I typically run RO water over a 24 hour air stone after Ph adjusting for new sprouts. Seedlings do not need intense light until they start getting additional pairs of new fan leaves, and the closer your light, the faster it will dry out - especially w/o a dome.
