600w 2x4 SOG Afgooie Box Grow - Bitches

I am off work and had a little time so I thought I would give back a little.

These are the the three that I started as mothers. One was a dude and I axed it. The others where cloned out.


This is the box when it is closed.


The 48 clones got placed in veg.




I culled them back to the 32 best. This is one week of veg. The veg was under a 400w hps. Some where really crooked so I staked them.




As you can see i added mylar. Here are some pics after one week in flower. They have also had two prunings sice the last pictures.

And just another shot to show how much they have grown.

So here is the scoop. You are looking at:

2x4x5ish grow cabinet
600w Light in a cool tube
400cfm fan pulling across the tube
4" booster fan in and 6" booster fan out to a elf filter
The plants are sitting in 4 - 10" x 20" prop trays.
Canna Coco is the medium. I am using Canna coco nutes, Canna Rhiz, BC Sugar Daddy.
Foliar feeding with Purple Maxx. Let it be known I could give a fuck about purple, this shit does some other stuff that I am using it for.
The plants are supposed to be afgooie. I got them as seeds which makes me doubtful since i have read that this could be a clone only strain. When I found this out I applied DM Reverse as a preventative against the herm as directed by DM.
I know I am forgetting shit. So high......

Ya man. A lot of people will shit talk 4 plants to a sqft. but with proper care I have had great success with it. Nice journal by the way.

Thanks man, appreciate it..........actually trying to post a video tour I just did, take a look in about fifteen and if it works, it should be there.

EDIT: BTW, only starting with 30 plants flowering this time around and topping for two colas; next time, just doing 64 clones lollipopped (4/sf) to get an idea of what I can max out at in my current setup.

I have the ac thing down where it stays at a little over 70 all day. I plan on adding a thermostat control so that my room a/c cuts off when it hits 72.

I flowered clones with like 3 days of veg lest time and it worked really well. This time i took smaller clones and let them veg out. I ended up with more side branching but it was easy to control. What I do to is lollipop by removing the bottom 1/3 of growth. After that I have discovered that for packing them in 4/sqft all branching must be removed back to the first fan leaf and node on the branch. This allows the branch to produce a little more bud than cutting all the way back to the stem.

What height was that? I'm asking because I take super-tiny clones (like 1 to 2"), so I'm guessing you flowered at about 8"? Maybe 10"?

I took clones that where about 1 1/2" maybe 2" inches. I put them into 12/12 when they where about 4" or 5" inches. I expected more growth in the last week but they are right at 8" now and tomorrow will be the end of week one. I hope that they get a lot taller over the next week. The growth has been amazing but very tight internode spacing. I can thank the 600 for that.

Ichi, Im subscribed, Im fully into the whole SOG, I even use the same pots as you, Ill be following your journal closely as Im doing something very similar to you besides I want more plants lol, great work Im excited for you.

Yo man. Thanks for stopping by. I built the cab from scratch. I am all about tents and stuff, but when it comes to filling an odd size space nothing beats the ole nail gun. I am just now starting to see little tiny tiny flower spikes forming at the top. I really want them to stretch a lot more. Peace.

Do you plan to repot those plants, or do they stay in those small pots for the rest of the cycle?

Do much do you usually get per plant in this kinda setup? Or how much did you get in your cab last grow?

The reason I ask is that Im currently about to go aero because I could fit 40 something small into my grow tent...but I have loads of canna plus soil and canna nutes...I would like to finish them before I go aero.

They will stay in those pots until they finish. I wouldn't try this with soil. In my experience you would need double the size container to use soil for this size plant. You could always roll with coco. I have gotten 1/2oz per plant with the right strain. With even better strain selection you could get a little more per a plant. My hope is to average right at 1/2 oz a plant. That would give me an even POUND. Lol, This is a new strain for me. We will see what happens.
