Ok here is the current setup I have going

2x 4' T12 40w 5850K
2x 4' T12 40w 3100K

Mixed smaller ones 1x 3100Kt12, 1x 6400K t12, 2x 4200K T8

for floro lights.

Using
Neptune and GH nutes (pictured).

I vegged em 2 months, they are about a week or so into their 12/12 cycle now.

Starting out I have them on a 24/0 light.

I started with 4 then found one outside and brought (later found it was a HE) and killed it so 3 girls out of 5 isn't bad.

Anyways Im stoned lol

I used a low mix of the nutes thus far, pretty much about half as directed and have used them 2 times.

The middle plant is Victoria and she is my best best strain (calling is K1DRO right now) it was some damn fine snit I got newyears we dont have seed banks here so it's prob not much to yous guys but anyways I said I was a noob grower.

Ill update every few days if people look.
I also have a hydro setup in another room ill start on it tomorrow on here.

In the 1st pic the plant being tied up is "Victoria" she was fucked by my falling shitty light rack, she healed up just fine, tough little girl. I named her after my daughter, she died when she was 3 days old from heart problems.

so whatcha think???

ohh yeah forgot to mention about a week ago I got some of those stupid dog pecker gnats in my plants so as I read another post on RIU (cant remember who or I would give credit) suggested sand will stop them from laying eggs in the soil, and rite they were. 2 or 3 days later no gnats, and it stayed that way, no affect on the plants. I would warn you not to use the color play sand it could hurt them (not for sure but better safe than screwed). I used general landscape sand.

It's good to keep other critters out, I'm going to buy nemaodes next year for sure tho.

Ok I have gotten some CFL's and wound up moving "Alice" (the smaller plant to the far right) to a veg area on 18/6 because of all the stress it went though.
Yesterday I added 2 100w 2700k CFLs
Today I got 4x 100w & a 150W 2700k CFLs and some hardware.
I will post pics with the new setup and 2 plants.
I had to raise the lights 2 times today, Victoria kept touching the floros.

Ok I upgraded the setup today
Iadded

4x 26/100W 2700k CFL's
1x 43/150W 2700k CFL (with reflector)

I have 2 more 26w CFL's and will add them when I get some mroe cash to buy light clamps and splitters.

I made my own for the 2, real high tech huh?

Victoria is looking good I thinks....
I have 8 more of her line waiting to sprout.

Made another trip to walmart, don't get the work clamp light thing for 6.84 get the Flood Light kit (has sockets for 2 lights), now if you dont mind mounting it (which I dont cuz of the rack) it will save ya some money, PLUS you can independently move the lights. Ill have it set up in the morning.
So my new setup will be

1x 4' T12 40W 5850k
1x 4' T12 40W 3000k

6x 100/26W 2700k CFL's
1x 150W/43W 2700k CFL

Any comments?

Girls are looking good, I have to raise the lights every day.
I will post pics tomrrow

I gave them 1/4Gal each of water with both neptunes 1/2tbls per gal. Then some more plain water then I mixed worm casting 40/60 and topped the soil. Oh I removed a great deal of the sand since i have gotten rid of the gnats for a good while now AND I read that most sand is made from limestone which causes issues..... So it prob not the best thing, but def better than gnats.
I've been addming more and more CFL's here is the current count
7x 100/26W CFL's
3x 75/20W CFL's (found em in the house, so what the hell)
1x 150W/42W CFL
all 2700k
1x 5850K T12 40W 4' tube
1x 3000k T12 40W 4' tube
2x 3000k T8 32W 4' tube

Im ordering a 400W HPS starter kit and the AgroSon 430W HPS that I have read so much good shit about. I will prob order another setup like it for the next grow.
http://www.htgsupply.com/viewproduct.asp?productID=47929 this is it. Anyone delt with HTG Supply???

Also going to buy a portable AC to put in the grow room for emergencies, I have central air but shit happens and also may wind up with a heat issue

Ok they have been doing pretty good, given them light feedings every week, Neptunes the week before and this weekend GH FloraMicro and FloraBloom.

I was wondering if these newer leaves around the buds are suppose to look like this or maybe she needs some "N"

They are in their 3rd week of flowering, the other plants leaves kinda do the claw thing, any ideas??

They are on 12/12 lights good ventilation, temps never over 85 never under 72

No bug problems....

I don't know the answer to your question, just wanted to say your girls look pretty good...Especially Ellie! I've seen several of my friends fail on their first grow; I am starting out on a low budget as well, and hoping my babies turn out as well as your ladies! :blsmoke:
