Ok I have been reading up on this site for weeks now and all the info and opinions is almost overwhelming. I needed a low key grow setup that didn’t get hot. I set my budget at $200….ha that was a joke I ended up spending about $300 on seeds and the following items.

Cabinet is 26.5" Wide x 14.75" Deep x 36.25 H

50 Watt Red Blue LED Grow Light for flower and veg.

4- 35 watt (120w) Warm White CFLs 2700k for flowering.

4- 35 watt (150w) Cool White CFLs 6500k for veg.

5 inch fan for air intake.

Computer fan for outtake.

Heavy Duty Digital Timer.

Lined with mylar.

Miracle Grow Organic Soil

(not sure what fertilizer to buy, but that can wait)

I ordered my seeds for attitude, and Ill be growing 4 Barneys Farm LSD Feminized plants (Shipment took 9 days and it came on 4/20, that’s got to be a good sign!) I am germinating the seeds right now in paper towels on top of my cable box(works good for all my garden seeds). I am open to criticism and advise, this is my first grow. However, I will never upgrade to HPS lights for heat and stealth reasons. I already know that’s how you get the most yield. Its just not for me.

2 of my 4 seeds have cracked now and as I have been waiting for them I ran into a little problem. My cabinet gets up to 100 degrees when my lights are running. This will only get worse as the summer approaches. I guess I am going to take down the mylar on the back wall to intall another computer fan. This sucks. Does anyone know if the mylar might be culprut?

I took my mylar down and the temps lowered about five degrees.

your lighting should be fine for a bit since they haven't even popped the soil yet. i would just add some extra fans and that should take care of it.

Im bored so ill update...I fixed the heating problem, previously I had only drilled a shit load of holes in my cabinet for the fans. I recently used a jig saw to cut fan sized holes.

Now it averages in the low 80s when the lights are on and in mid 70's when off.

Question??? Now my cabinet is not extremely light proof. The room light never comes on but it does have a window. How important is it for your cab to be completely light proof. Im thinking about modifying the holes to protect from light.

Opinions??? Im debating on purchasing 4 more CFL's for flowering but currently dont have dough.

Its MG organic soil. I could use some more fans but im going to leave it as is for this time around.

Your plants look swoll as hell for 4 weeks. Nice Job. Im hoping mine will hit a growth spert pretty soon. Im working on doubling my current light output. So maybe that will help?

Nice its about time someone actually had a stealth system in there thread labeled stealth system! For some reason peps call it stealth even though its in a grow tent 6 feet tall and sitting in a open room.
Nice job man god luck on your grow

im sad to say this grow is OVER. My fan broke while I was out of town and my plants were on the brink of death (4 days 114 degree temps). I put them outside for a couple of days and they bounced back beautifully. Then I decided to plant them with the rest of my outdoor crop because I am going out of town allot this summer and doing a indoor grow takes too much attention for me. :peace:
