hey guys i finally got a way to get pictures up so im gunna finally write my grow journal :D

ok so first off its just some bag seed that sprouted really tall :hello:

So I got a cabinet in my closet
its 2' length x 1' width x 4' height
and right next to it i have a future mother/clone box and a fish tank ontop of that box with a floro tube nursing seedlings :)

the box is completely lined with mylar, including the board the lights are mounted to :) (btw i hate hanging mylar) :smoking::smoking:

So in my box i have 2 80mm computer fans as exhaust and a 4" pvc elbow taped to my intake hole (sprayed black of course :o) as well as a mini fan hanging in the room as you can see in the pics. I'm afraid the fan doesn't oscillate but i will aquire one that does in time :D

I currently have 4

And Two

In the box so far, I included a pic of the board my lights are mounted on, i will have the 4 grow bulbs in a pattern with 6 grow bulbs by next week, the hardware store in my town ran out of the fixtures I am already using and I don't wanna mess up my *self proclaimed* pretty sweet system.

Currently one plant is in miricle grow organic mix potting soil, the other in miricle grow seed starter soil [supposed to be good for tomatoes].
I went to 2 home depots and a lowes and you wouldnt believe how hard it is to find foodless soil! Sooo I'm gunna just use this for now till I order or pick up some foxfarm soil and nutes :D:D

Oh and I also got a nifty wireless thermomiter, the sensor is mounted in my box and the display i sit next to my computer monitor with me all day :)
it stays about 80º in the box normally (one of my fans burnt out but im getting more tomorrow) so i hope the temp will improve, I'll keep you posted :D

~~how lucky was i tho that my friends orange haze poped out a seed!! i have it under the floro i mentioned earlier in the post :):):):)~~
~~~~~and even luckier than that, my other buddys sticky as hell kush dropped a seed for me too!! :D:D:D:D~~~~~
thanks man your the first person across a few boards to actually look :D
plants are doing pretty good i think i may move the lights down tho i think they're stretching.
is this stretching? (the leaves made kind of like a V shape with the tips towards the lights)
STRETCHING is when you have the lights too far away and they stretch toward the light, making more stem, and less leaf. With CFLS, you can and should put 26, 42, 65, and 85 watt bulbs just one and half inch close. 105 watt CFLS go about two or 3 inches close.
I stretch mine for 24 hours on purpose when they are 3 and 4 weeks old, but not when they are smaller and younger. At 3 or 4 weks of VEGGING, I move the lights 10 inches away, and they grow 3 to 5 inches in a day taller. Then I move them back one inch close.
i have the lights maybe 6 inches from the babies or so i think, i might move them down since the temp in my box stays between 77º and 80º Fahrenheit
ill get some pics up later tonight,
update, i got some fox farm soil i cant get to my box to get the name right now but its the one with the root fungus thats supposed to be pretty nice
theyre a week and a day, 2nd day of 18/6 :D
:weed: :) :) :) :)
cool so that means u started urs basiclly the same time as mine..it will be fun watchin them grow
yeah it will man~~
i just hope my little one can survive in the big box, one of the tiny leaves that first sprouted looks like it shriveled from the heat, but the rest of the plant looks 100% fine, no burns at the tips, no yellowing or anything so I'm hoping that leaf shriveling didn't mean anything.
would that mean anything? :confused:
oh word? i was scared.
no where in any guides did they say it would do that so i was caught off guard
thanks man your always commin through:weed:
is 76 degrees too low of a temp for a grow room? i took someones advice and moved the white fan to blowing out of the box and the temps went from 80 on average to 75-77 normally
???:confused:???
ah they're ok under 77? whew cause i read it had to be at least 77 so i was like oh no hahaha
thanks for the reply man you've helped me out alot :)
well to update i ordered a 6 planter hydro bucket, one of the 10 gallon totes and a 400 watt hps so im thinking im gunna set that up behind my current box because they can both fit fine in my closet :D
what nutes are good to start hydro with, the kit came with some but i think theyre only like 8oz bottles,
i was thinking the fox farm organic 3 pack, cause i need to get it for my soil babies and on htg they give hydro instructions for the 3 pack so could it work better than some generic grow/bloom booster that came with my hydro bucket??
update they are all LOVING the fox farm light warrior soil, i have a haze plant thats 5 days old and it looks like my some of my others that are almost 2 weeks old
