So this is our (we're roommates) first grow at our new place
We just transplanted our children from soil into their new bubbleponic home :leaf:

We're planning on constructing a grow box soon, but for now this is our current set-up:

12 6500K CFL
10 gallon Rubbermaid plastic container
Rock wool with clay pebbles
Water pump and bubbler
We're using General Hydroponics Maxi Grow Veg and Cutting Edge Solutions Micro Nutrients

We currently have two plants, one of which has some burns that are healing

so we trimmed all the burnt leaves off hoping she will focus her energy on new growth. We may lose her tho, but were pullin for her.

So put some ph down in our water and got it a little lower than desired. about 5.2 should i worry about it? i know 5.5-6.5 is best but will 5.2 hurt anything?

Guess no one wants to read my shit but, i decided to play it safe and change out the water. the Ph is now between 6-6.2.

Think we should get some more pics up tomorrow.

Oh and 10 Durban Poison seeds are on the way. YEeee

Update:

There is some new growth on our healthy plant, the new growth is much greener than the old growth. the little guy with the burns is hangin in there but not much growth going on.

Here are pics of the healthy plant. we will post some pics of the other plant in a couple of days hope she pulls through.

p.s. Ordered some Durban poison seeds, should receive them in a week+-

We would like get to the point of turning over 6-8 clones every 4-6 weeks. Were planning a grow cabinet, part for mothers and other for clones.

Will keep you(if anyone reads this) updated.

Thanks, the light setup was so simple and it allows us to add bulbs easily as needed.

Update:

we have roots showing :) It seemed like it took forever to get to the bottom of the basket, and now the roots are taking off.

Will put up pics tomorrow...or later today

Update:

1. Roots have taken off along with the rest of the plant
2. Our struggling plant has died:? However, we received our Durban Poision seeds and began the germ process yesterday.
3. We contructed the frame of our new grow box. the demisions are 32L X 27W X 64H.

Here are some pics of the plant, its roots and our progress on our cabinet

Oh question. Anyone heard of having too much light on a plant. We have 6 clf hanging above(865 lumens each) 5200 total and we just added some side lighting another 2-3000 lumens for a total of 8000+-.

I read<http://homeharvest.com/plntdis.htm> red tips and bleaching color of leaves is an indicator. there is some red tips on some leaves but this could be other things as well. What are your opinions?

4 for 4 of the Durban Poison seeds germ'd. 2 of them have sprouted and we transfered them to larger RW and put them in the DWC system.

our other plant. now 22 days old, is still growing like crazy, were moving the lights just about everyday. :)

Will update with pics tomorrow.

Oh and can we please get some feedback.

To any CLF growers, check local stores(salvation army, home depot, ect) for discounted CLFs. our local power company subsides them, were paying 1$ for 3 24watt(2700k) CLFs:) or 1$ for 4 14watt(6500k)

Quick question for you guys. This is my first grow with CFL's. I've one nirvana bubblicous plant going on three 65 watt bulbs giving off about 3800 lumens per bulb. Im onto day 36 of flowering and im wondering if this looks too small. Supposedly it finishes in 8-9 weeks, and every other plant i've looked at thats around 30-35 days flowering looks twice as big at least. If i could get some opinions i would be VERY grateful!!! Thanks

Well its hard to tell the size without refferences. So your a little more than 1/2 way through flowering. Your not going to get any new bud sites, the ones you have will just become larger and more dense. Plant looks healthy otherwise.

Update:

We bolted out power strips to peg board and now hang them using chain. its much easier to raise and lower. :)

Throw a few more bulbs in for the new seedlings.

Our bagseed beauty is doing great. new growth everyday.

Here are some new pics of the bagseed and a few of our new girls(knock on wood) plus our new lighting setup:

Your plants look right for where they are at cfl's dont grow as dense of a bud that hps do most grows you where looking at probably had hps setups try and get more lumens and you should see a difference.
