u shuld always buy a ballast along with ur light 4 ur first grow 2 prevent confusion but ebay is always good and if u shop around google u'll be able to find the correct ballast 4 ur wattage

ummm did u not read? my girl left and stole my shit... i think shes crazy...

lol anyways... ive been diving into this site like a ron jeremy into muff... and alil update.... screw the hps and mh... i got the bulbs... but after researching and really figuring out wat style of grow would suit me and my place of residence (apartment) im going CFL... and probably will stick with that for a long long long time... just a personal choice... heres some updated pictures... let me know wat u think any advice...

i have 4 plants... all planted at the same time, but one is ridiculously bigger than the rest bout 2 1/2 times bigger, one i nicked named pinky... cause she's struggling sooooooo hard but is stunted and has just started her first real set of leaves....

im growing under a 26w CFL all 4 plants are circled around it... all are within 1 inch (im planing to get bout 4 or 5 more lights on monday (payday))...

k these plants have been growing for about 4 1/2 weeks

3 1/2 weeks on the window sill, with bout 4-5 hours of light aday...(i took them out of the window sill at night cause it was too cold... and i sleep alot... so really 4-5 hours give or take)

then i found this site and have them in the grow room under a CFL and are loving it... quick question.... 24 hours of contineous light during veg is ok right?...

24-0 is a great veg cycle..you can do 18-6 if you want to as well

she didnt have a key.... she locked the bottom lock when she left... u think i would give her a key? lol... negative... btw... is there any danger to a really stretched plant? there is a good 5 1/2 inches between dirt and first node...

no it will be fine. keep your lights close to the plants so they dont stretch anymore

No danger, just a good indicator that you're not giving it enough light.

nice... yah im picking up more CFL's on monday... any ideas on smell? i live in a aptmant and im growing in the coat closet... bout 25 feet from the front door... but its the only place i got for now... i guess if it gets bad i could move the whole operation into my bedroom closet... but its not a closed door closet so it would still be 1 door between just alil father away...

The smell wont be too bad right now, and may not even be noticeable during flowering. I don't think waiting it out would hurt.

allright heres a lil update... things are coming along nicely... ive started to add veg nutes... monty's grow juice 8-16-8... ive got a fan on them for stem strength... hopfully the stretched one will get stronger so its not top heavy...
