I am starting to look at Root Aphids as a possible reason for the yellowing dying leafs shortly after flowering starts. I have Fungus Gnat's or flyer's...... Hmmmm....

Thanks Crit! I am happy to have the ballast back also! I forgot to mention that the Whorly plant is a Blue Magoo. It smells wonderful and has a kinda black pepper taste to it. I can see some light green in those callaxas pushing out so she is still swelling up!

Due to various reasons I have never had one of these finish all of the way. I had frost at the end of fall that hit my outdoor at day 47 so I had to chop early and my last indoor one had bad root problems so It got chopped early. This one has root issues also I believe, but it has made it the farthest. Those damn aphids or gnats are reeking havoc on my plants after they start flowering.

Freezing the dirt does nothing to them, they just go to sleep then wake up when it warms up.

I am all ears if anyone has a remedy that works! My plans are to harvest seeds from my strains and end the grow so I can cleanup and replace all of my soil then start over But that is only if I can stop cloning my plants!!!!! :dunce::eyesmoke:

You didn't tell me you were starting a new thread?!?! I'm subb'd now...try sprinkling some de around and letting your soil dry out a little...took care of the fungus gnats for me :)

Hey MD.....

Welcome!!

I figured an ongoing thread for the room would be best.

I took a look at the flyers that I have and they look like fungus gnat's as the wings are the same length as the body. Next time I head to town, I will pick up some and give it a try.

I already let the soil dry out between watering's. Probably to much some times...

I had a problem with them on my first grow...in MG soil...and recently had an issue in the FFOF but the de did the trick! I sprinkled about a tablespoon around my soil and haven't seen them since...just don't use too much :)

Been down with the Flu. The wife brought it home from work and passed it around the Casa.. I actually ignored my plants for a few days and have finally felt good enough to climb the ladder and check on the destruction!!

Some of the clones busted out some roots and need desperately to be transplanted into soil. The lack of food is not helping them at all!

I decided day 66 was the day for chopping the Whorly plant down. There is an abundance of Amber that is readily visible as soon as you look at the flowers. Looks like a golden sunset........

The Color started changing a week or so ago.

Ok. Spent part of two days trimming. If I remember next time I am out there, I will get a close up of a nug! Just so I don't use up extra space on the server I will link over to my other thread for the pic's....

https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/726632-polyploid-plants-i-gots-me-16.html Just scroll down to post #153

I spent the better part of today out in the greenhouse making use of the trim I have laying around. I would guess I got about 3+ ounces of wet trim from this last plant (blue magoo) so about 1 ounce if it was dry. I added another ounce of some Blue Dream trim I had along with the last 3 ounces that had already been run once.

It was a nice day for making Hippy Crack!!!!

So I set up my work area. The bag of frozen trim from last time I made it is not pictured.

The tally is in for the WhorlyBiPloidthingy... 174 grams or 6.137669 ounces in the jars! That would be the highest number for me so far from one plant.

We will see how much the MiniPloid gives in about another 40'ish days or so. Won't be as much since it was only topped for 6 top's unlike 16 top's on the WhorlyBiPloidthingy.

My XJ-13 is at day 50.3 and yellowing like crazy in The Room-0-Death! The yellowing started on 11/19...

The Blue Dream started yellowing on the edges at day 25 so it is keeping up with the Jones's...

The AK-48 started yellowing on the edges at day 19...

A Blue Magoo started yellowing on the edges at day 42...

The others that just went in there are still green but I am sure they will follow suit!! I will get some pic's of the yellowing soon. Next time I head into town I will hit up a shop and grab some cal-mag.

what strain is the whorly bro?
It is supposed to be a Blue Magoo. I found 3 seeds in a bag I picked up from a dispensary and the wife popped them for me :cuss:...

So with that said, who really knows! The color looks like Blue Magoo, it grows relatively fast and stretchy and smells great!
