Ok folks, hear me now and thank me later. This is for the more commercially minded growers out there who want to control odor AND prevent any issues with mold / mildew / bacteria.


This device uses a sensor to maintain proper levels of ozone and 7 different reactive oxygen species (ROS) including hydrogen peroxide and hydrogen trioxide. 3 of the ROS compounds can settle on surfaces such as your plants, walls, floors, equipment, instantly sterilizing them. Safe for you and your plants as the controller reads the parts per billion and will maintain effective but safe levels.

You need good air circulation. You should NOT scrub the room air with carbon filters as this will scrub out the ROS. This device will take your odor down from a 10 to a 1 within minutes. Leaves no residue as the ROS compounds break down into water and oxygen within 30 minutes.

So with a properly sized unit in your grow you have eliminated the possibility of powdery mildew and controlled odor. A unit that will handle approx 22000 cubit feet (their 4022) lists for $5800, yearly consumables is about $950 to keep unit as new (filter every 6 months $100, reaction chamber every 12 months $200, sensor every 12 - 18 months $550. That unit draws 96 watts. Cover on the controller to prevent light leaks. They will give a 10% discount to first time buyers and right now they have a sale going for another 10%.

If you want crop insurance against PM and the bonus of odor control then this product is right up your alley.

If you are gonna bitch about price then it's not for you, move along. If you feel that cost is acceptable for the protection it provides then give them a call. I am not affiliated with them and I don't make any money for spreading the word. I just feel like this is the best thing for commercial growers since sliced bread.

I should note that when sizing the unit you want to take biomass into account. Generally for a flowering room they apply a factor of 1.5x to the cubic footage in order to size the unit. You may want a higher multiplier if you had some exceptional level of production such as I do with my rooms using the lit side canopy area.

The unit uses a sensor and PLC logic controller to optimize for conditions. Some units have multiple internal power supplies so they can be activated as required to provide increasing levels of output based on demand. As biomass increases the controller compensates automatically.

Seen something like this used in a bio-pharma/ Enzyme manufacturing facility, made a world of difference in production numbers.
Pretty much eliminated batch contamination during runs, and cut days off cleanup turnover when a run was done.

This is actually one of the batch rooms where the Corona virus vaccine will be manufactured.

Just saying, its the same tech used in a warren of enclosed spaces that are impossible to reach, like flowers.
This replaces chlorine gas and manpower that they used to use, so big improvement bringing industrial tech to commercial activity.

O3 (corona produced ozone ) has a reputation for killing terpenoids on the plant . Does this product do that?

I wonder what kind of intake filter that takes and what frequency is service, generic is important with something like that.
It does need a filter every 6 months ($100) and you have to replace the reaction chamber once a year ($200) and the PPB sensor is replaced about every 18 months ($550). That service makes the unit as good as new.

I believe the way to go for your space is going to be the 4005CS or 4005CS-P

The C = Controller (integrated as it could be separate in some installations)
The S = Sensor
The P = portable (handle and feet)

Those units are good for a 5500 cubic foot space, draw is about 28 watts. That's their smallest unit. With a flowering room they typically apply a multiplier of 1.5 to your cubic footage. As biomass increases the controller will compensate. The 11x11x8 space that you described would be 968 cuft, if flowering room @ 1.5x we get 1452 cuft. So the fuzzy logic will likely need a little tweaking on the controller to tune the unit to your space.

A cover can be fitted at the factory to prevent light from the controller screen interfering with your dark period. Best to place it on a shelf up high so the distribution is better.

HMU in a PM if you want more info. The third document in the third post has the specs for the units. I have a 4007CS-P on the way to play with and use as a demo unit. 7500 cuft capacity, it's about a $4300 unit. It should be here on Friday so I will post some pics. I have a flowering room thats ripening and I can set it in there and turn off the carbon filters to see how it does on the stank.

Please keep all of us in the loop i know id love to see how the results are i NEED like everyone else to eliminate any odor. But yeah ill hit u up now

My AirROS demo unit arrived today. I popped it in a flowering room that was trying to out stink the carbon filters. Turned off the CF's and let the AirROS run, instead of the odor getting strong after the CF's were shut down, the odor was actually less noticeable within 10 minutes. After 30 minutes I can't smell any weed in there.

it says it does destroy ethylene... which is a flowering hormone... is it not dangerous for human health? as it says its genotoxic...
