Well, not to serious but it is a strange feeling none the less. I spent the last month caring for the overall health of this little plant and then one day I take a pair of razor sharp scissors to it. Not right if you ask me, just not right.

I know that feeling, I had it once. You know what feeling is better though? That of your overall yield, compared to the one you'll be thinking you'd get without topping!!

Cheers!!

Hey man great looking room dude. Very clean. I light the Ts for side lighting there. I can be overlooked until your pulling gram popcorn buds off the bottom nodes. You said this was just bagseeds right? Totally sub'd btw.

Thanks I put a lot of thought into my little grow room and its potential. Bagseed for sure it takes a little longer to get to veg but it's a learning experience that I value anway I don't know if I'll ever spend $60 on 10 seeds, lol.

Been talking with the wife and I may just bend and order a few regular seeds. I wouldn't mind spending a few bucks to breed some seeds and good smoke. Found a couple strains that would be fun to try. Gonna stick with the bagseed for a few grows first. We are not in a rush to murder a $15 plant. Damn those prices seem like highway robbery.

All my girls so far are mixed bagseed. I have had it longer than the seeds I made, so I though I would use some of it up. But im at a like a 10:1 ratio, so I am thinking about vacuum sealing a bunch and throwing them into the fridge.

My favorite seed company of all time, globally, Mandala.

There are some killer BC banks that I dig too, just my $.02.....

On the topic of expensive seeds......you know some of the struggle im sure of just growing altogether.

Now add in multiple runs and multiple breeding tries [at least over 3 generations] and keeping isolation, and all the other bullshit that goes with breeding and from the right breeder, I believe it can be worth it, it is quite literally blood, sweat and tears for some of these artisans.
Not seed makers, but breeders, that's the distinction you have to hunt out.

I got lucky because most of my bag is actually femmed and I have had some Self-sexing seeds going on and I love it. I gotta grow some outdoors this year, but we had 6 faukin inches of rain in the last 2 weeks of September and I lost about 75% or more.....only my high CBD strain produced anything and mold hit it too, just not as bad....so now i go INSIDE! lol.

Good luck and good growing :peace:

I may have misspoke on the breeding part. What I meant to say was if I were to end up with a good male and female of the same breed I would certainly mate them if we like the smoke. That way we wouldn't have to order more seeds later.

That's what I thought you meant ^^^ I just meant about the initial genetics. Sometimes it is worth it to throw down for the that initial and then all that hard work, now you get to harness it into your own essence of sorts.....

I'm a 24/7 kinda guy for a number of reasons. First and foremost I needed to keep heat in the box as winter here is brutal. Got a nasty little space heater for flowering so that's covered now. Speaking of flowering this is the last veg photo shoot. Had some good ole fun with the LST and tomorrow morning we start 12/12.

Not much going on but a little LST adjustments on both and trimmed Betty a little. My little holmes fan in the background there wouldn't spin 2 days ago. While crusing the webs I found a grow thread where a guy had the same fan and tells you how to fix it with a quick lube. Needless to say that dude saved me $15 bucks, yep only game in town this time of year. Really good forune that I found myself reading that particular thread. Anywho I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on some beans from Bonzaseeds. Was looking at Herbies but their prices are astronomical and I'm not impressed at the lure of free seeds when you actually end up paying for them in the cost of seeds you want to get. I would have started out with good beans but I wanted to see if I can keep these little ones happy and I do believe I can. I see all this success with Fem seeds and I'm stressing wondering if my two young ones are indeed bearers of fruit or a 9 week pipe dream.

Just woke up from their second day of rest. Really serious stretch during the twilight hours. Almost as if they where looking for the sun.

Ah, fuck it, ordered 5 fem seeds from Bonzaseeds. I've been shipped plenty of items from overseas in the last 10 years or so and never had anything sit in customs. Hope my beans see the some good fortune.

Do you have that fan thread link? I was justing thinking about cleaning and lubing all of my small fans. One I hooked up in my big box, last night, started making noisy noise, hate it, drives me crazy....:joint:
