Male or female?

These are some dirt weed seeds I found and decided to grow, dont know if they're male or female. They are 5 weeks old and both about 10inches. I trimmed the first ones big fan leaves so the plant can concentrate growing the shoots. I'll flower in 3 weeks

It looks to me as though it will be a male, but I don't think that it can be said for sure yet. Watch it daily.

even number of leaves is male and odd is female unless it hermie

lol cutting off your fan leaves is bad. how is the plant supposed to intake and process the light without its solar panels. fan leavesshould only be removed if it has so many leaves it chockes itself out or your at like week 7-8 and you can't move out the way of the bud's light.. your harvest's weight will be affected by all the leaves you removed

oh and to tell a plants sex around wk 3 of flowering either white pistils or small sacks will show at the nodes. or you'll see both and flower with seeds in the bud

3:30am ...i keep some strange ass hours. All started when a timer was bad and i started getting up to switch the lights on in the middle of the night so they would be running during the cooler part of the day..well doesn't really matter now as i upgraded ventilation and it's winter here anyways but i kind of like the peace and quite at this time.

I'm sure most would agree that it's just a bit too early to determine the gender. I see no signs of it being male or female, but it won't be long before you do.

I'm sure most would agree that the defoliation of the lower leaves was about as stupid as it gets. You will be better off if they are all males that way you won't need to waste your time continuing with your pathetic runts.
