8 Week Auto Doesn't Want Any Water

Hey, I've got a Critical Mass that has decided it's not thirsty. I know it's winding down and all at 8wks but according to the trichs I don't think it's quite ready. Can I use water usage in my harvest calculations? Anyone know?

What exactly makes you think its not thirsty anymore?
I dont go by trich's, I harvest when the plant looks "done"

The plant in question used to need watereing everyday. Now it can go 3 days and still feels damp. It just makes me think it's ready to harvest because it's just not growing anymore. And I have seen those pictures in one of the 'sticky' threads JeffD. I've looked at them for a long time and still, for me, it's hard to decide when to harvest. I think it's just something people have a knack for.

Yeah knack and more of a preference it seems as well. Hell I still know some old school cats that go by the % of red hairs lol

Has the environment in the grow room changed any? Like went from hot to cooler in the room? Heat can add to it drying out quicker, im sure you know that just some ppl might not take that into consideration. Another reason i ask is cause the weather here in central FL has been real screwy hot cold hot cold.

As long as you keep the rule of "If its not dry, dont apply" you'll be fine

In my experience towards the end of flower that is pretty typical. When they are just putting on the massive weight they suck the water up like crazy, but there comes a point when they slow down. So yes, they are close.

A good rule of thumb is to wait another week after you think it is done if you can't inspect the trichomes with a scope.
