I am on foodstamps and WIC so I am able to tell you FOR A FACT that foodstamps were never in jeopardy.

One state had a malfunction that lasted a couple days and people couldn't use their cards. It was fixed quickly.

Funding for benefits was not stopped.

Funding for workers was stopped. Lay offs would of begun 3-4 weeks into the shutdown but benefits would of still gone out.

Excuse me, so it appears federal funding WAS cut. My state just had been prepared better than NC.

So I apologize on that point.

However BOTH sides are responsible for it happening. They all voted and passed the bill that started sequestration. Obama signed the law into affect.

They keep putting off handling the budget properly because the debt is SO fucked up that programs need to be cut. And that is VERY unpopular to do.

Has nothing to do with racism. It is all about getting reelected.

IF the republican voting base wanted mandated health care, they would not be voting against it.

IT has nothing to do with color of skin.

No doubt there are racist assholes upset about a darkie in the WHITE house, no denying that. No doubt there are racists that support everything he does no matter what BECAUSE he's black. We still have a ways to go with race relations in this country.

But is it really your claim that only racist people are against the ACA? That would mean the vast, vast VAST majority of professional health care workers are racist. Do you really believe that?

doctors are gonna take it in the ass.......and the wallet..........it makes total sense they would lie and bitch........ under the old system rich people didn't buy health care ...cheaper to pay out of pocket in the long run
