Strange phenomenon or genetic mutation?

Its not wet when I open the doors...I have fans circulating the air pretty good...hoping to have cabinet finished by the end of the week. Is it bad to have the ballast setting on the floor for a couple days? There is a good airflow on that side down low (a gap I opened to draw fresh air)
 
Aw SHIT!! You guys don't have to be all quiet about telling me that's a fire waiting to happen!! I SLEEP in that room!! OMG...I didn't have a CLUE!!! AND I've been medicated for the last couple days...I could have been burned up!! :shock: Moving that tonight!! I was going to put it outside on top of box...don't know why I didn't!! Don't ever worry about hurting my feelings guys...I'm really not that sensitive!!! Thanks for bringing that to my attention before I was roasted in my bed!!! :shock:

its not a good thing .....doesn't look like its causing any problems tho .........not getting angry are ya? .........just askin .....I would have thought it would be pretty steamy opening the doors the way those are growing...........how warm does that ballast run?....is that a 4 in tube? planning on buying a backup bulb?

Just to be safe, move it. you'll be OK. (I use a cooler outside my tent)

Woody you don't make me angry...you remind me of my old jumping coach...he got under my skin but he made me think and that made me a better equestrian...so your gonna have to try harder than that...I've never even cussed at you :)

Ballast has never felt more than slightly warm to the touch. I check it often...but I'm moving it. Somebody else just said something to me...fire hazard? Don't have to tell me twice!!
You can feel a bit of humidity when you open box but now that I keep a fan on high set up top not so much...air can flow around side and back of box now because I opened a small gap.
Its a 400 but I'm only running it at 75% when I go to bed at night...just cause...when exhaust is set up in new cabinet I won't worry so much. I have another bulb but it's a MH...suppose I should have a back up HPS huh? 6 inch cooltube

Yeah...I'll get on it. This tooth knocked me down for a few days...still an issue but I'm starting to function a bit more. How strong a fan do you think it will take to move the air? I'm looking at a couple different ones at my hydro store...6 inch...the higher the CFM's the better?

I wouldn't set up that new cabinet w anything less than 2 four in inlines....... adapter for the cool tube filter for the other.......box both the fans since they are gonna be inside and hang em.............the more air you can move the better ....pull the air tho...... don't try to push it that's goofy.....move enough air you should be able to keep that cabinet just a few degrees warmer than the room its in
