Which hot plate are you using?

While we're here, anyone using a Nuwave PIC Induction range? I see infomercials for them, 2 for 99 bucks, and you can set the temp from anything between 100 and 575 F...If you used one of those stockpot type vacuum chambers, you could probably just set it on the range if it's not aluminum...

hello read the posts :) the commercial gets you cause they don't mention the outrageous shipping charge they have for the items
 
Whatever...lol...How's that thing working out for ya? Seems like the best bet for temperature control.
 
im just starting to mess with the whole vacuum temp thing....will post some threads next few weeks to get pointers Im sure:)

I have a Nuwave I bought for $60 off ebay.... any temp I want

even if you buy a griddle and a Ryobi Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer they will cost about the same as a nuwave

The marketing firm i work for services the client that owns that product, lol.
Deff never seen that use in the manuel :D
My client services rep will get a kick out of that, hes a toker and he deals directly with the guy who invented it/own the patent.
