looks like your going to run into some problems already. I would get that plant out of that soil asap! get some good store bought soil. Foxfarm or Promix. Add some perlite for better drainage. Your soil looks muddy in the first pics, and your plant already looks like its lacking nitrogen... heres a topped plant.. heres my current veg box https://www.rollitup.org/attachment...212304100-og-kush-indoor-veg-out-img_0036.jpg

Heres how to go about topping a Plant. Theres a pic so you cant fuck up. This should help you out alot.

1. Locate the very top of your plant and cut through the main stem just below the newest growth (red line). This should be done after the 3rd or 4th leaf set but can be done at any time after the 3rd leaf set.

2. Shows Plant Top cut off and where the (3) 2 new Branches that will form a "Y" in the main stem will grow from.

Last pic shows the newly topped plant after 2 days of growth, notice the Y in the Stem Forming. Hope this helps you feel better about chopping your plant, I was skeptical years ago, till I actually did it.

looking alright maybe prop that stock up , to make it straight, in a few weeks pinch off the very top newest set of leaves , 2 make then secondary branches come out

pre flowers wont come for awile it would go male first you have to watch for that you will know if its male probly in 1-2 weeks id say, but it loos like its a she to me , haha

August is when you should start to see pre-flowers. The reason being the days get shorter as fall approaches. I on the other hand are seeing female pre-flowers already on a few of my ladies. This has me puzzled.

Hank.

hope its a lady for ya 2hi4u... the preflowers wont come for a while and sometimes if you get too impatient and flower before u see the preflowers the other sexing flowers wont show for a couple days, because im on day 3 of flowering and sexing and only a couple have defined themselves as females in my batch... i think i have one male so far but not totally sure yet in the next couple of days i will though hopefully...ill have new pics of my babies up tomorrow if u wanna check it out, keep up the good work and good luck with the topping, i FIMed a couple of mine and it was really easy and worked so you should have no problems, just do it how it was posted earlier and you'll be fine, ttyl bro peace
