Ok everyone, I have some new pics for you guys to ceck out! These are my NL x Big Bud Auto girls and they are 2wks & 3days old as of 8/10/13. Thats when the pics were taken... all 7 were transplanted into 5 liter air potsCAM00102.jpgI also gave them a light nute feeding at give/take 1/4 strength. Not sure I should of done so considering that there might have been something up with the plants. I took a few snapshots up close and I'm just curious if I could get a little help from anyone? I could personally tell if there was an onset of Nitrogen deficciancy or nute burn from the Fox Farm "Ocean Forest" soil? I heard that it could be a little "hot" for auto seedlings. I made the best judgement I could and gave them a light feeding( hope I didn't mess up).CAM00103.jpgCAM00104.jpgCAM00105.jpgCAM00106.jpgCAM00107.jpgCAM00108.jpgCAM00109.jpgOne is also a little on the small side, not sure why...maybe bad genetics? I thought these looked a little small for being right around 2 wks. What do you guys think? I'm just curious and trying to stay up on things. This is all going to be have a learning curve for me (trial and error so to speak). Any comments or critisism will be taken to heart...THANKS!!!

Also, what do you guys think of the light distance from the t5's? I was thinking they should be closer but I was having a hell of a time with heat build up...even with the thermostat

Here is Shorty, 9 inches and straggly, 6 weeks old in organic soil, half the time she’s under a T5 HO 425w and the other half under a 400w HPS.

She’s got some filling out to do.

Consider it done.

Yeah they were my first OG's and were beautiful.

I accidentally killed the second batch of a couple OG 1 week into flower (it was a very painful time for me lol) would have been smoking Kush now, but we all have to live and learn.

I veg with a 4ft 8tube T5 HO and it gets significant heat build up. People say they run cool, cooler than a HPS yes, but they don't exactly run cool.

I like to keep it at least 6 inches away from my tops and have a fan wafting over the canopy (you probably already have).

Thanks to you guys with all your grow talk and pics, I'm getting ancy, lol.

No problems man, I'll give you a weekly pic till harvest if you wish.

As for nutes in the first four weeks as an organic grower I dont add much, in the first 4 weeks, it's all in the soil.

Good luck.

Thats cool Herb Man! Looks like she'll being filling out soon... But I have to ask, what's up with the roots popping out of the soil?
You tell me.

Lol, no the pots are too small.

Getting some bigger ones and potting up, yes potting up 1 week into flower

Plus I didn't cover them properly when potting up, probably.

Thanks Herb Man, I would love to see those pics! ...I veg with a 4' 6 tube T5. Mine are about 3' away from the tops and I know I should def have them closer. I've just been having one hell of a time dealing with the heat build up from the lights being so close. I even went out and bought a cheap thermostat? I think I have things uner controll now... I will try lowering lights again this weekend (fingers crossed:eyesmoke:). Other than that, only real issue I have is that my grow facility is so far away. Like an hr, lol. So my ladies only get water every week, but it's a good watering :-D. I have also set a drip irrigation system for later use when they get bigger (which I know they will )

Alright man will update every week.

Do you have an extractor fan in there, do you have cool fresh air coming in?

What are your temps?

Do you have a humidifier in there, what is the humidity?

1 Hour away, yelp.

This is going to be an interesting journey.

I'm in.

Ya man, I have an ehaust port... consists of a Walmart 5" fan and some 4" ducting. I have a cool air intake that consits of 6" ducting connected to a 6" inline fan that leads to a shaded area outside the facillity. The ducting is 2.5-3" long. My temps have hit 99 deg F... that's why I raised the lights. I don't have a humidifier, but the humidity ranges from 45-60% depending on the watering and misting before I leave. I have seen it hit 37-42%. Making some adjustments come Friday night and I will be posting them. Feel free to drop any tips :joint:

I dig this! Jut curious, but how old are the ones in the black pots? Autos-NL right?
The ones in the black pots are all two weeks old.

They are a mix of four different cheeses and a couple OG Kushes.

The NL is in the red pot.

I've got some Mylar reflective sheeting to put in there and an exhaust fan, for when the flowering tent reaches critical mass and I have to start using the vegging tent to flower also.

Ok, righteous man! Are those NL finished, how much did you get a plant? My bad on the "digging" but your NL turned out bad ass!
