There was apparently an event last night in south seattle that was strictly a cannabis "farmers" market; this is so far the only event I have heard of where weed is the focus of purchase and distribution. If you're asking about the Fremont Market or Ballard Market, University Market, or heaven forbid, the Pike Place Market, they'er farmers' markets and they sell organic veggies, meats, baked goods...You may see some local glass vendors, but not many, and no open exchange of ganja for the other green friend, as it were.
To be helpful, I would suggest that if you were planning on touring the markets anyway, re-plan your day and take a tour of cooperatives. This is fun, you get to sign up at each of them, sample their medicine, talk to the folks who are a part of the co-ops and assess for yourself which you like the most. Happy hunting!
