I wouldn't recomend it. Herd of some growers doing it. Me I top at a young age "like Smokey", and during "veg", then I try & wait for a few days, just to let her "new" growth to start, then I stick um into 12/12.
I have did LST right b4 flowering though, & had super good results with doing it like that..

welli just took 8 of my plants put them in a dark room for the next 48 hrs.. in got 1 in 5 week flower 2 others in 2-3 week flower. n 8 baby clones.. there were loooking great but now there getting a little yellow.. couple be from my high ph water... so i just fixed up some ph water to keep sprayin the dome with..

man o man... if u think ur tap ph is high mine is at like a 9 or ten and im not too happy about it.. i want to say something to the land lord but im going to wait 5 more weeks to do so when my plants are harvested. im pretty sure it made my girlfriend and kid sick...idk thou, my dads a chemist thinking of asking him but its only going to bring questions on to why i was testing my tap lol...

here are a few. there not the greatest.. but hey... I had to take my little hand held microscop 60x100x scope tape it over my phone camera lens, turn camera on phone, n BAM lookin at the trics thru the phone.. but its hard as hell to move that thing where u want it. n stayinf steady.. but gives an idea...

i chopped small little plant, it was a runt yeilded bout 5gs lol so it was a runt, and im outa smoke so i dryed it out using my oven... just put it on my warm setting (bout 100 or les.) left it for bout 30 mins keep checking n turning.. pulled the buds out they were still lil moist but not wet.. i rolled up with little bit of hash i had left bout a pinch... and right now i am fuckin stonned... could be just the hash.. or mix i dnno.. but im Stonned
