Interesting.....as im from the east originally. I have reservations about this being a pure afghani.
Unless their is a rare afghani sativa? Skunk has some sativa for sure.
All the afghani's i smoked back then were chronic, much better than afghani today. They were dank and skunky, but tasted more hashy, skunky n earthy, a true joy to smoke.
The skunk i got had longer more spear shaped super sticky spongy dense buds.
They were more army green in color, and the taste was like the smell. All skunk almost a sourness. And the high was up, giggly, happy, chinese eye and strong, with a stony come down.
A truely great hybid.
the orginal late 70's skunk did have affie in the genetics but was heavily bred away from this genotype expression....those affie phenotypes of the original skunk were attributed to the RKS aroma and flavor (and were considered more rare). This is not the look, smell, and high of mid to late 80's Amsterdam skunk that were much more sweet with a uplifting sativa high, these were the skunk genetics that had been bottlenecked and then worked through Amsterdam seed banks.
That's why it is so rare to find today.
