Hello all! Im having some issues with my babies and am not sure what exactly is going on. Hopefully i can be thorough enough so you can make a diagnoses.
(please excuse my bad grammer)
I have 16 plants(galactic jack) thats been in veg, 24/7 light, for about a month now.
Im using black gold soil. For the most part have been under 600 watt mh.

Seems like everything was going great... until my 600 watt digital ballast stopped working. They were in complete darkness for about 24 hours. I had to get all the spare bulbs in the house (cfls), along with 150 watt hps and 90 watt ufo (ufo is freaking useless) a total of about 430 watt. So they were like that for about a week. Lots of stretching going on. They didnt look too happy, but i dont think thats when the wilting began.
Seems like the middle and bottom of the plants are ok, but the top are wilting pretty bad.

After they had been under all the random lights for about a week, i got a 1000 watt hps setup i put in there. So now they have been under 1000 watt hps (still vegging 24/7) for about 4 days. I was hoping once i put that in there they would start to flourish in about a day or two. When they continued to look unhappy, i transplanted them from a 2 gal grow bags (filled about 2/3rds) to 3 gal grow bags in hopes that that would give them a boost, and today, 24 hours later, still wilting at the top.

I have a co2 tank with a regulator im using for the first time, and i have cheap timers that only have 30 min increments. So for the few days ive had the 1000 watt hps in there, the ac and fans would turn off for 30 min while co2 enrichment was taking place. temps got crazy! 68-95 degrees. So after a few days of crazy bad temps, i just unplugged the co2 for now and am keeping the ac on at all times to keep a steady 72-78 degrees. I also raised the lights to about 30 inches away.

Ive only had to water them about 4 times. Every time just plain water except for the last feeding, i gave them 1/4th recommended fox farm grow big.

Also, im not sure what the exact ph is. Should be around 6.5-7.0...I use the drops to determine ph level. i have a hanna ph tester, but after i calibrate it, it just always seems to give weird readings (its old). BUT... I think i might have screwed up and forgot to adjust the ph the second to last feeding, which i think i gave them water with ph probably over 8.

So im thinking the main things that could be causing this is 1. temp was out of control for too long. 2.the one time high ph feeding 3. maybe over watering (i dont think thats it)4. or maybe their just hungry for more nutes?

Any help or comments are much appreciated
AND....so sorry all pics under hps light. im hoping this is an easy diagnoses and pics dont matter that much, but if needed i will def take some more without hps on. Plus my camera sux too, so that not good.

Well, its been a few hours now since i posted this. I moved the lights up about 6 more inches earlier, and i think their starting to look better. Theres still a few that dont look too happy, but hopefully by tomorrow they will be back on the right track.

could not open your pictures, also a 1k hps air cooled or not should be about 16 inches min away. and you need to veg with mh not hps. wrong color temp. keep running 24 hours if they started to flower they will start to reveg stop flowering. have to becarefull with those 1k lights. even though you can put your hand directly under it or even on the tube or glass if its not hot. belive it it not if its to close it still will burn the plants tooo bright

They seem to be looking better today. Theres just a little bit of wilting at some of the tops.
Im also noticing some of the bigger middle fan leaves are darker green than the rest of the plant. Maybe too much nitrogen? Which is weird cause i only added nutes one time at 1/4th recommended.

So yesterday i raised the light quit a bit ( around 30 inch or so from the top) and have the portable ac going non stop. temps are stable, and hopfully everything will be good.

Its my first time using a 1000 watt bulb and co2. It looks like i just wont be able to give them co2 until i can get an air cooled tube, or maybe better timers with 15 min increments. i have the cheap ones from wal mart that can only do 30 min increments. So the way i had it going is fan and ac off for 30 min, and on for an hour, with the opposite setting for co2. And it looks like after the ac has been off for 10-15 min, the temps go from about 70 degrees to about 85ish maybe a little lower. So im kinda leaning toward getting new timers instead of having to buy a cool tube and another fan and more ducting. (i had alot to splurge with to begin with, but am now on a tight budget :()

Its my first time using a 1000 watt bulb and co2.

just thought id say as it might be worth mentioning, i tried adding more co2 and found that unless plants are using max nutes and max light it is of no benifit. the fresh air intake should be enough if not you will need better intake.

it also messed around with my ph (dwc) constantly!!

p.s sounds like thats wayyyyy to much light. too soon for your girls, thats why they seem happyer now youve raised it, the change from 430w to 1000w has been to much, there only little raise the light well above and gardually move it lower and see how it goes!!

Im pretty sure i have more than enough intake, so yeah ill just ease up on the co2 for now. i have an 8 inch inline fan mounted at the top left(i think is 720 cfm) and a portable ac unit on the other side, and directly across from the ac and the bottom right of the grow room i have a little box fan with a air filter taped to it to also help with intake.

Ahh let me mention the size so u can get a better visual. Its 10ftLx5ftWx8ftH which totals 400 cubic feet.

They still look far from 100%, but i think their getting better. Im going to go ahead and move the light up even more and see what happens.

I also have 2 autos in there, and they look perfect. And ive been giving them the exact same treatment. Its so weird... Im trying to give them what they want... but something is still a little off. But yeah im going to raise the light a little more and see what happens

I think everything is ok now!! Their all looking loads better. I had to get that light waaaay up there. Thank you sooooo much for you guys input!!

they look overwatered in the pics.

Do you know how to irrigate properly? Full soak, then wait until pots are light and soil is dry up to your second knuckle. Basically a wet to dry cycle.

some strains are easy some are cunts to grow

e.g i grew G.H.seeds SLH for ages, she could take heavy nutes, up to 25ml (dutch pro) in flowering, im now growing DNAs lemon skunk (was used in the SLH cross) and she is a complete bitch never exceeding 10ml during flowering... sometimes trying a new strain can make you feel like a Noob!!

i think hes got it covered now since raising his lights they have improved.
