How many USA vets here?

Being in the military and being trained proficient in explosives as a combat engineer, I don't believe that most terror organizations exist as we are led to believe. If these "terrorist" were so evil and had such an agenda, do you not think they could have caused more damage than they have to this point? But this is my opinion... Go ahead and keep believing that they are all just sleeper cell gas station owners around the country

While I agree that we've seen copy cat cells pop up that are the result of rogue or extremely misguided elements of the intelligence community, I do believe we see a lot of blowback from relationships that have gone sideways... cleaning those messes up also expends a lot of resources
I wouldnt characterise them as you have, but would say they exaggerate a shitload to keep their budgets fat and prove they still require such a pervasive domestic surveillance capability to keep everyone safe.

If nothing would happen to the USA without a military...why do we need one??? We need our military or this country would fall without one. Again do tell us how we can truly defend this great country without a military. Please explain how 120 million armed people can truly defend our nation ( at home and abroad ) like our military does. You actually think nothing would happen to this great nation without our Air Force, Marines, Army, Navy or Coast Guard. WTF
I really don't think anything would happen if the Military was disbanded at all. Prove me wrong.

I'm not the one saying we don't need a military. I do believe the proof needs to be on you to show how America will be protected without.
BUT since I do like to shove my point down ones throat and show just how incorrect MOdrama can be, let us start with the National Guard. They fall under either Army or Airforce depending if they are Air National Guards or Army National Guard. They both come into play with domestic issues, hurricanes, earthquakes, floods...etc
The Rodney King issue was a prime example of how they can come into play when things get out of hand with violence and how at times we do need our military forces. The California National Guards and Marines from Camp Pendleton were needed due to the local police could not do shit with the riots. Quid pro quo. Now you tell me how America would work if we disbanded our military
