Hi guys. Thanks for all the nice complements. I thought Id share a little more about this grow to satiate your curiosity.

I don't think I am doing anything particularly special. I have been using foxfarm nutes for the last year so I am fairly confident with how to feed. With this grow I stayed around 600 to 800 ppm. Possibly different, I kept with the Grow Big nitrogen fertilizer up until the end of stretch. Also this run around I used silica heavily. I feel it made my stalks and stems very strong and thick. It also seemed to make my leaves hardier. I didn't think they would get as big as they did, which is why they where in 2 gallon pots but maybe it helped air-rate the roots. I did need to water every other day though, as 2 gallon pots don't hold much water. I also fed with nutes just about every watering up until 2.5 weeks to harvest when I just used plain RO water. I kept the light as close as possible without bleaching and it also helps that I don't loose much light in such a small inclosed area. My temps the entire time were great at about 70-80. Besides that, I just kept it simple. I don't cut leaves, I keep my grow area clean, and I really don't mess with them much. I think that about sums it up.

I am happy to have cloned both of these plants and my next grow is a SoG with 9 clones from the left plant. I am excited to see if I can push more then 10oz with this setup.

I not only admire the grow, but your patience in trying some!

When you've got good cured bud lying around its not such a big deal. Plus its hard to get a good feel for the type of high until its cured for at least 2 weeks imo.

sorry to semi hijack, but I just wanted to know what type of feeder you found BD to be? Mine was yellowing up and epsom salts seem to have done the trick, can you offer any suggestions for a yield like yours?

I have never used epsom salt before. I did notice that yellowing on my right more sativa double blue dream came on very quick in its life.

Thats wonderful to hear, you did a really good job with the standard you set there, it shows that topping and Fimming aren't always needed and that you can get a good yield if you keep an eye on the plant and take care of her.

I know how you guys like pictures . I tried some, and let me say it has quite a nice kick. I vaped a bag (actually I could not finish it) and it locked me to my massage chair for a good hour. I got up to walk the dog and I had to second guess whether it was a good idea , and I'm an everyday smoker.

I feel it was an even paced grow but check out the pictures in the beginning of the thread. There are dates on most the pictures. I believe it was a 13 week grow and about 10 of those were flowering.

I'm running the same and my ladies are about 4 ft. tall with like 8 heads each. I fimmed. They're really dusty already. I'm wondering if they'll fatten up like this, though. We'll see. Day 42, for me.

Never had the double blue dream. I have had blue dream like 7 times in the last year all from different growers and its always been ahhhh nothing special. Always looked good but the high was low and not long at all.

^^Thanks for dropping in. Blue dream was always one of my favorites from the dispensaries. The double blue dream that iv grown here is quite good. I would say that its definitely not the strongest iv had but good non the less. The effects of the DBD for me are strong zoneing out (you can feel it in your head & eyes) and elevated thought + munchies. The effects are lasting around 2 hours with a few hours residual high.

So my Double Blue Dream clone off of the left plant in this 400w grow is done and dried up. It was under my 150watt and yielded a little over 2.5oz (bone dry as I just wanted to use it for butter). It was in a dr60 tent using a 3 gallon smart pot. Foxfarm soil and nutes where used along with silica. She went for about 10 weeks. Here are some pictures.

I agree with L33t those Double Blue Dreams do look pretty epic... especially if you didnt have to hunt through dozens of plants in order to find one or two keepers, looks like you got a goldmine of killer genetics in that test tube...Congratultions on the beautiful crop.

i cant wait to see more...

p.s. ( those special high intensity UV light bulbs, the ones they use in zoos for the reptiles, im told they emit so much UV light that they actually supply them with vitamin D!!!!!! but for buds Im told it aids in trying to replicate the spectrum that would be native to equitorial sativas and since that DBD surely has haze in its lineage...some food for thought) keep up the good work

I was thinking the same thing. If I popped 2 seeds out of who knows how many and they turned out both to be female and dank, that's a great test tube full of seeds! And its statistically improbable that I was even using the best seeds of the bunch!
